GREAT VIDEO!!!Just pulled the trigger on the Lanzeta! Liked it even MORE when you compared it to the Prather (I know what to expect!)! It's my first WT knife. I really liked your review on the knife, thank you! Now, I CAN'T WAIT till it gets here...
Congratulations on this great knife and its review. I am lucky to have tried a Lanzeta and it has me in love. It has won a privileged place in my field team. This great brand makes very good tools. Greetings from Spain.
i dont like recurves, they are great until you screw up the geometry just that once because you where in a hurry in the field,so unless you got sharpening machine of some sort you will be all over the map trying to get a consistent edge throughout the blade with it not being constant,so you will start to undercut the grind because you realize it starts behaving different depending where on the edge you are,and soon enough its in the knife pile instead of the field because you just cant bother anymore with it.
Aaron, when you mention the Rockwell hardness, what exactly does that mean? Can you also tell me where I can find information on how to distinguish the grind of a blade
Work tuff gear is becoming a company one does not want to support. I have messaged them multiple times and they never reply. Makes you think how effective they will be to uphold their warranty. I tried to get a Puzon splatter edition. They were sold out in 5min and only 12 went on sale. Later all my complaints got Victor Lin’s attention. He told me that only 12 units from a previous batch went on sale and I must keep in mind the splatter edition is a limited edition. They are trying to get 300 units for October. The thing is I would like to have a puzon for a up and coming survival and bushcraft trip that would be main chopper. Now I will have to settle for a knife that I dont really want. Work tuff is playing a dangerous game of being exclusive. It will their downfall.
Very beautiful blade, I love the sihouette of this knife. The links you give in the description are not good or this knife may not be available on the websites yet. thank's
I LOVE everything about this blade....except the SK5 steel. I'm in a very high humidity and often high salinity environment and keeping SK5 rust-free is a challenge. I've got to the point where I just skip high carbon steels and look for well-done stainless options - CPM154, AEBL, etc.
How would this stack up against say the SCHF9. Price point is that with the upgraded sheath on the 9 it would still be a lot more affordable than the Lanzeta at the cost of $160 with the add for the belt attachment. If it came with the nylon attachment then it still is $135 vs $100 with a custom sheath. Performance wise the Schf9 would beat it in battoning & chopping. I would like to see you do a head to head comparison.
What's that other work tuff gear knife with the newer and better finish you where comparing it to? Is a review of the other knife coming up? I have the Prather war bowie. Great knife, bad sheath. Wish it came with kydex from the factory like the WTG knives.
Hey dad body, your foot almost didn't get high enough on that kick, ya almost had a flipflop snag dad fall on the butt moment😂 That was hilarious bro,...."dad bod" 😂😂😂 I feel ya man.
Man I love the look of that knife! Its like my buck Reaper on steroids! Wich I bought after watching your review on it. Still love it, but man I really want this one.
The name Work Tuff just sounds like a budget brand at Walmart that also sells cheap work gloves, shovels, etc. I know that’s no indication of actual quality, I’m just saying.
Nice video, I just want to point, that in my eyes, for example ESEE Junglas 2 will be much more comparable blade then that two you shown here. Thank you anyway:-) FM
Cool blade I watch a utube channel called wingman 115 and he has shown a few of this makers blades they definitely look like they’re made to work.I really like that Atayal design 😍 if U don’t I’d trade for it.
Thank you for all the videos you make, been a subscriber for years. I'm a care worker doing nights and your vids are always light relief from the sadness I see. God bless, John
Lets be honest here... the price tag is their way of saying "hey look we used G-10 scales and hey, check out this tactical recurve bad ass blade bro!" I love G10 its a favorite and im not saying the bade isn't usable, but come on. $135 for sk5? Its cool I just would have wanted no recurve, maybe 3V steel, and multiple g10 color choices. That handle design in G10, no recurve with 3V I would have spent 300 on that

It’s epic! I hope it serves you well.
If a tracker and a bowie hooked up and made a baby, it'd probably look like that Work Tuff.
Wat a beautiful blade
If you had to choose.. prather war Bowie or lanzeta..?
How to sharpen knife this shape?
Between this and a Tops Silent Hero 2, Which would you pick for a camping trip?
I'm also bringing along an axe

Man, Work Tuff is really growing on me, I think I'm gonna have to pick one up soon. This blade in particular looks awesome.
Aaron, when you mention the Rockwell hardness, what exactly does that mean? Can you also tell me where I can find information on how to distinguish the grind of a blade
You should Google Rockwell hardness for steel
Absolutely awesome blade, Aaron.

How would you compare this to your other favorite mid weights? Like the guardian 6 or the honey badger?
It's the same thing as 1085 carbon steel

The blade look nice, but sk5 steel really crap for out doors use, $ 135 that expensive for sk5 steel, i can get 3V with those price tag!
@Eric Ocasio i brought a coldsteel recon tanto 3v for $135 like a year ago on Amazon, recently i got srk 3v on blade hq for $140
