ngl, if the body didn't work like that we would've starved to death on a tree 20k years ago. not going against what you're saying, but saying it's "unfair" is silly at best. And side note, while 3k start being hard, your brain and body burn 1-1.5k calories a day doing essentially nothing. All you need is burn the remaining calories

As a stuggling fat guy iv found wills videos very helpful. I was 340 pounds this time last year and now in 280. With many ups and downs i keep going to my favorite foods and "pack on the calories" as will said. Getting this advise is slowly helping me develope better eating habbits and its nice hearing this info from a former fat kid like myself that has a black hole for a stomach like i do. Just wanted you to know Will your an inspiration to fat guys all over the world that we can make better choices and change our habits. Thank you

Something to be cautious/mindful of is that the caloric burn data from our wearables/trackers have innacuracies between 20 - 90%! For anyone challenged in losing weight, its best to avoid looking at what our devices spit out in terms of calories burned if youre using this data to guide your caloric intake. Big mistake i used to make.

I think you succeeded since you did not count in your BMR, and you also worked out for an entire day without taking any pre-workout or caffeine. In the end you pointed out that unhealthy diets cannot be undone, and I can see how you could have made this challenge a little easier by choosing to consume more nutrient-dense food, which might have made you more energetic. In addition to the message you conveyed, what you had done is mind-bogglingly amazing.
Great video and entertaining way to show people how easy it is to overconsume calories. I see people try to work off a bad diet and it usually doesn't work. This is why.
