Thanks for your comment. If you take a closer look, you can see that the low saturation, detail lacking backgrounds are a design choice. Some reasons: You have a foreground, interactive plane which contains the playable elements, which is plenty of detail and saturated colors. And for the sake of playability, we need a perfectly distinguishble background so you're not distracted from action and can see the playability of the main action very clearly. Also, when you see something on the distance, you lack detail and colors are unsaturated, just as our background, to give sense of depth and scale. I don't want to tell other games what to do, but having a background which interferes with gameplay (P.E., making it difficult to distinguish bullets) is a mistake.
Anyway, I'll take your comment into consideration, thanks for it!
Six and a half minutes of your talking head and zero seconds of the Spectrum version of the game. Jesus Christ.
The clue to the video is in the title, there is Spectrum footage, and don't call me Jesus Christ.
@@RetroGamerBoy And how many seconds of Speccy footage, compared to your talking mug? There's no need to show your face. You are not the subject of the video. Nobody comes to your channel hoping to stare at a middle aged man for 30% of the videos. The basic rule is don't show yourself unless it improves the quality of your production.
You can download and play the ZX Spectrum yourself at our website www.tuxedogamedevs.com 🙂, it is a full free game!
