  • Let's go searching Goodwill and rummage sales for things to sell on eBay! In this video I share some of my rare and valuable finds that sell for hundreds of dollars online. I sell my valuable thrift finds on eBay, Amazon FBA, and Mercari. I found an item I had in one of my recent bolo videos and should be able to resell for good profit.

    //WHO AM I?
    I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
    I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.
    Subscribe and join me on my adventures to see what I can find to make some dollars.

    //FAQ
    Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
    A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
    Q: Can you make a living selling online?
    A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
    Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
    A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
    Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
    A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

    You are such a good teacher. Had no idea some of those games are so valuable nor that some have parts that are so brittle. Thank you for taking the time to show us. Love your videos!

    Good finds. I can relate to the bad eyes. I now go shopping with a jewelers loop tied to my waist (so I do not lose it) and I find myself using it often.

    Georgia has nothing like the rummage sales you find. Literally nothing here like that. I've been to all of the 60-70 percent of the state 'regularly' and nothing.

    Bro! I found 4 Tonneau Covers in the last 3 weeks. A Trailblazer, and 3 LEXUS ONES!!! I Sold the trailblaze and one Lexus from 2 weeks ago already for $86/$139. The new Lexus one I just found yesterday was the exact same model as the one I just sold. And the other one is probably going to be listed at like $220-$240 because it's for a large Lexus or Toyota SUV. it's big and complex and looks like they're 599 at the dealer. Why do people keep chucking these things?? Here's what I paid for them $5/$9/$3/$4(the last 2 were on the color sale) I can't beleive I make 20-30x the money on them.
    Oh yeah, the trailblazer was at the Bins, and the 1st Lexus was at Edmond Goodwill, the last 2 were together at the Guthrie Goodwill.

      I sell Tonneau covers all the time throughout the year, but I only come across Honda CRV’s and Subaru Outback’s for some reason, very strange. That said I did just pick up a 20-22 Jeep Grand Cherokee cover, last week at the bins for $6 in mint condition.
      Some people will remove them, stick them in their basement. Meanwhile they sell their vehicle years later, without the cover. Spring cleaning comes and they donate them. That’s what I think happens haha
      Most resellers won’t even look at them because they’re large.

      @@goforbroke2 yeah it's an awesome 100-150 bucks all day long. Kinda hard to pack them good, but I've gotten good at making odd shapes work lately with bending cardboard and using shrink wrap. I don't mind spending 6-8 minutes making a special package for over $100 profit. And yeah it's just crazy how many I've been running in to, and mostly all Lexus ones that cost $599 at the dealer. And buying them all for under $10 each is crazy.

      How do you ship those and cost on shipping please.

    • @spankymagee
      @spankymagee 2 місяці тому +1

      @@leanncoss795 I'll probably have to make a video about it to show everyone one day but I've been wanting to make one. But I take 2 boxes that are the same size and are long & somewhat thin. And I wrap the cover in bubble wrap, then shrink wrap. I then cut a hole in one box the exact shape of the cover and force it thru the hole and seal the first box up completely. So at this point you have a complete box with the bubble wrapped item sticking out of one end. That stabilizes the cover from moving any direction. Then i tape that peice sticking out to the box. Then I cut one side completely out of the other box and slip it over the first box. My reviews of me doing that on ebay are people blown away at how well it was packaged.

    • @spankymagee
      @spankymagee 2 місяці тому

      @@leanncoss795 oh and cost is just the price of the size & weight of the finished box. Go make a listing and play with the numbers a little. Add about 3 lbs for your cardboard and bubble wrap and see what ebays calculations come out to be. But there's a certain point where Ground Advantage more than doubles in price from like $30 to $75 once it hits a certain threshold. That's when I switch to FedEx Home Delivery. FedEx is cheaper on the larger stuff that doesn't way much.

    HI Wick .,... When you get plushes like that.. do you clean them ... or do you sell them as is? i've never sold or even listed any plushes on Ebay .. so goof to know if one way or another, If so how do you clan them .... especially when they have tags on them.

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  2 місяці тому

      I usually just sell them as is unless it's something very special. I put in the description they aren't cleaned and could have smells associated with them. If you are buying from goodwill or thrift stores they are required by law to disinfectant them, so they are typically pretty clean anyway.

    • @Aaramlias
      @Aaramlias 2 місяці тому

      @@FlippingJunk I don't think they do that here in thrift stores in Canada... they just put them out as is. During the main covid years they put them away for a month to decontaminate them though. I could always just hang on to them for while and let people clean them if they want to when they got them. I have a few that I may list in the future .... nothing too special though except maybe a few Hello Kitty ones and a cool eagle one that i've never seen online.
      I've had a few in the past that someone wanted me to sell but I never got to them because they were so musty... he ended up taking them back though. I usually don't buy them if they are stinky myself.

    Bro how much you make on UA-cam? I'm thinking of starting but not sure it's smart for me to put in the time if I can't make a financial gain. Hope my question isn't rude. Not my intention

    • @FlippingJunk

      I'll say I make less than what I'd make if I spent the time listing instead of working on videos. It can take years before you start making anything. It's best to do as a hobby because you enjoy it and then eventually after a while you can gain enough subs and watch time to monetize. Of course you can always get lucky and a video goes viral... I do it because it's a break from listing and I like talking about reselling.
