Well to be honest, it was founded ''lux Express" in Estonia. But the collaboration with Finland, Latvia, Lithuania is what i makes it so speacial, that you're able to travel to many places. Great video!
I want to “defend” the coach station a bit. The reason why the station is in this half-finished state is because of the ongoing RailBaltica construction. That is the reason there are excavations on every step. The platforms along with shelter roofs used to be on the side you walked outside but now will be replaced with viaduct for high-speed train traffic. And the station building is a good example of soviet modern architecture.
Oh man what an ugly city .... typical of the commie era..... Ugly i say...ugly.....I'm never going there...it seems like a lot of Peasents and hobo's live there...nope I'll stay in Beverly hills thank you
It's true, but it's still incredibly sad to see some of the most presentable buildings in our capital (except the airport, which is excellent, the rest - Port, train station and bus station) almost haven't changed since the soviet days. So many buildings have been renovated and now look European and presentable (which is great), but for some reason these buildings are left with nothing.

A few years ago I did a Baltic trip using LuxExpress. I flew to Tallinn and then travelled to Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw on the bus. When I went, the first class was just 1 - 1 seating with more leg room and recline. It was a great way to visit the area.
Yes! I was traveling from Tallinn to Riga and bought a standard seat. While boarding, the gent in front of me explained that his travel friend was ill and had to stay longer in Tallinn, so he gave me his luxury seat. It had a larger than coach, adjustable screen to watch many channels and movies, but I preferred to enjoy the beautiful scenery during the five-hour ride.

There are long distance buses from Riga to Berlin and Paris, though airfares are just as cheap or cheaper. I'm traveling to Riga in Sept. and I will use the intercity bus system, also punctual and cheap, though not as luxurious as your bus. Riga also has a train station located not far from the bus station.
depends probably why you're travelling, and how much luggage you take. Cheap airfaires are generally without luggage, and fees for that can quickly rise higher than the original airfare. If luggage is free, I understand why it's the preferred travel option for people moving somewhere for a longer time, like lorry drivers, cleaners, etc, of which quite a few live for months in Western Europe to work.

Hi, I like to see your video0s. I want to ask you a question. Are there any plans to travel one time to Belarus and maybe to the city of Homel (Gomel). I think its only possible after the war because I understood that trains not riding at this moment between Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. But if they do, you have plans to make the drive?
That is a very nice bus! Both inside and out! I really like the ‘Relax’ class. The 2+1 seating. Looks to be an extremely comfortable and quit bus. I also like the styling and outside look of the bus. It definitely does not look government, commercial or metro city bus grade, but like a nice vehicle to be seen in and ride in. From the small number of passengers on this bus, do these buses operate with any type of government funding in order to cover the costs of running these routes so lightly loaded? These kinds of load factors I saw on this bus would be prohibitively expensive to offer in the US environment if there was not a significant government subsidy. Especially at the fare prices you quoted.
These large buildings that you mentioned you believe are train stations are actually not. These were built for blimp storage by germans during ww2, and now is used as a food market.
Yeah, our bus terminal and the platforms dont look all that good right now because of the construction of Rail Baltica. A new railline that will conncect the capitals of Baltic states together with a high speed train, and then connect further to the european network. Ex Soviet countries use a different gauge railways, so right now we have trains, but they cant be connected to central Europe.
@@Ephoros this project is good and will improve tourism, i am from Italy, I picked interest to visit the baltics all together since they are small and close,I don’t drive I saw there are few trains and buses but if there will be a high speed that will connect the capitals it will be amazing and more comfortable, like taking the plane from Italy to riga then doing the stages, then the ferry from tallin to Helsinki and the plane from Helsinki to Italy.

Why does the Riga Bus station and its surroundings always look like they are being renovated and they still need to be renovated.... its like, a constant for the past 15y :D

Wow nice view, I like to see new places ✌
Great movie 👍 Bravo 👋
And I have a new movie from a walk around the city 😊

Hi, I like to see your video0s. I want to ask you a question. Are there any plans to travel one time to Belarus and maybe to the city of Homel (Gomel). I think its only possible after the war because I understood that trains not riding at this moment between Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. But if they do, you have plans to make the drive?
No, no plans.
A good one (video) !
Interested what will happen once Rail Baltica goes live. I guess they will find new routes? Maybe something like Tartu - Riga?
Some people will still use these services, as they do in other countries with Rail networks
Lovely video on something a bit different (in a good way!).
If you book in advance, can you pick a specific seat?
Yes you can! And it's free 👌🏻
Lovely
Will you be going to Germany and reviewing public transit during the 9euro ticket period?
Tomorrow 👀
It's a private company. I've been on some that have been 100% full, and in standard class on this trip, it was.
These large buildings that you mentioned you believe are train stations are actually not. These were built for blimp storage by germans during ww2, and now is used as a food market.
I did say that in the video 😉
@@NonstopEurotrip The blimp part is what facinates me. Dead industry.
I can't wait for it 🙂
Cool when do you think it will be ready???
@@mari_comix right now they are saying that a basic line to Lithuania should be completed in 2026, and the whole project around 2030.
@@mari_comix sound like you have a Plan all figured out! 😁
But for the nearest decade your best bet is regular old trains and buses.
Very nice.
A world away from Megabus 😅. Nice video 👍
Can't say I've ever had the pleasure 😂
@@NonstopEurotrip less than £20 return, but took 7 hours and was flipping awful.
I see Latvia in title, I press like.
🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
Nice I'm live in Lithuania 🇱🇹 city kaunas
Very nice bus in Europe

@@NonstopEurotrip 😍🙏👍🏾
Very very nice config... :-)
Glad you like it!
never seen a luxurious bus, wow
Why does the Riga Bus station and its surroundings always look like they are being renovated and they still need to be renovated.... its like, a constant for the past 15y :D
RailBaltica... Apparently
Such a shame You couldn't show us the toilet. Is it spacious enough?
The 2nd announcement was definitely in Russian (not local language but pretty often used in both countries).
It's a regular tiny bus toilet, nothing special. You can just about fit in, but it gets the job done.
The toilet was tiny, but did the job!
That USB charger next to the seat was filthy.
I know! 🙃
nice video
Good bro 👍❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Thanks ✌️
You should try Japanese luxurious buses. 😉
I plan to 😆
@@NonstopEurotrip Excellent! You will discover the true meaning of what luxurious buses is all about.
@@JohnPap_Net honestly I'd rather stick to trains 😅
Nice to se the Baltic states.
