I was literally thinking of this the other day while at work ( immigration paralegal And hopeful lawyer here). I thought wow, this is a perfect example of how the LSAT relates to real law. One word makes a huge difference! Did you participate in Jessup btw? Your style, diction and demeanor remind me of a jessup finalist i saw once.
Actually I did! I was on the CLS team in 2010. My knowledge of international law was not great, but I have some fond memories from that year's competitions.
@@LuminateLSAT Wow what a small world. I remember watching your final, it was very impressive ! I participated in jessup last year (Latin American lawyer here now attempting to do law in the US) so I binge watched many of the finals. Congrats on such a huge accomplishment!
I agree that the LSAT is here for a good reason, and that students are best served by focusing on studying for it rather than questioning its utility. Perhaps being convinced that it's useful and testing real skills can help motivate students, though.
This question has been on my mind after a month of studying the LSAT through Blueprint
Is it possible to do bad on the lsat but do well in law school?

Do you still tutor? I need help
i'm very happy to know him. i think he is real as a one student who took lsat two times before.
not to be toxic, but personally i feel like this is a waste of time to ask. it's like those students that ask why we are learning math.

@@LuminateLSAT thanks for your reply. forgot to mention i often refer to your videos. thanks.
Why quit being a lawyer and teach?
I think it has to do with too much stress?
