Deextinction is actually a VERY interesting topic, scientists brought back a extinct sheep for about 40 minutes I think XD
And people are working on bringing the Tasmanian tiger back within this decade.

@the wise mystical tree 🌳 you know dodos were hunted to extinction for their meat right? 💀
Woolly mammoths are actually a little smaller then African Elephants

@MrGarfield what is it?
dodos have a reason
*they’re very cute*
Well dodo were important to the ecosystem of the island.
They spread the seed of some native tree.
But the reason wasn't fully explained as it would also destroy the current environment causing other animals to go extinct
bro you can’t just disrespect the giant monkey like that 😢
A pretty cool thing to think about is that blue whales are (as far as we know) the largest animals to have ever lived.
Although we're used to thinking of prehistoric creatures as the giants, actually it could be that in the modern day we have something bigger than anything that's come before.
tbh blue whales kinda lame
It really makes you remember that modern day animals have a lot more then offer then most people give them credit for when compared to the past.
Argentinosaurus and Patagotitan having estimates of 40+ Meters
@@That_Mazzini_Fan I mean in terms of mass, not length. Those two won't be the only dinosaurs longer than a blue whale, but according to current estimates, argentinosaurus was slightly lighter, and patagotitan was only about half the whale's mass.

It’s too big to crawl inside your house, and it would be so cool to see! Plus, you could hug it! Oats Jenkins has finally decided to reveal his age in the most unexpected way (It's 19 years LOL)
Very epic video once again funny oat man ! 👍
one of the BEST video ideas ever
0:30 That's a Brachiosaurus, or possibly a Giraffatitan, but it definetley ain't a Brontosaurus.
Colossal is _not_ extracting Mammoth DNA from fossils. There is to little of it left for that to work. What they are doing is modifying the genome of indian Elephants to make them grow hair and long tusks, giving us an indian elephant that looks and acts like a mammoth.
Can't argue with big Monke.
While I would love to see a living Dodo myself, bringing it back might be difficult because it has to gestate inside an egg, which must be opened in order to inject somthing into them or play around with the Embryos genes.
I'm sorry, but people disrespecting bugs pisses me of more than it should. How dare you do that to my boi Arthropleura.
For my opinion on Archelon, see my opinion on Dodo.

Literally we have cloning technology and have f we wanted to bring back The dinosaurs we could. Except there's a ton of movies and books explaining why its a bad idea
I mean It IS A BAD IDEA but the ones shown in this video are actually cool.
we cannot bring back dinosaurs LMAOO. Cloning has just gotten to the point where clones don't die in 4 years of real living animals. Extinct ones are significantly harder. Also dinosaurs lived in significantly warmer and more oxygen rich climates. They would likely freeze and/or suffocate in today's atmosphere. Their immune systems also have not been able to evolve alongside our bacteria, diseases, etc so they'd likely die if not kept in a completely sterile environment. While we know T-rexes ate meat and stegos ate plants we don't know the exact species they ate and their nutritional values meaning that we wouldn't know what to feed them. So no it's not ethics keeping us from resurrecting dinos but rather science is nowhere near ready to do it much less be able to keep them alive for a fraction of their lifespan. In the last ~20 years thanks to advances in reptile care knowlege and tech they're living much longer now. We barely just now have a good idea of how to care for common non extinct reptiles. I think having dinos and other extinct animals back would be so cool! However we are still quite far away in terms of tech. Things like Dodos we have a chance to maybe see be brought back in our lifetime but dinos probably not
Ok hear me out. SCHOOL 2!
Everyone pretty much agrees that our school system is flawed. It’s time for someone to objectively come up with a new and best system!
It was designed billions of years ago so little kids could grow up to work in factories. They sit in one place for hours on end listening to one person who’s in charge (teaching things their way), then learn how to do simple mealiness tasks.
None of these things prepare you for really adult life. No teaching how to do taxes, online/computer training, how to buy a house, how to properly use money, proper nutrition. Nothing but Y=Mx+B facts…
You should make a video where you design a bunch of crazy hybrid animals that scientists need to create. Maybe some cool pets, or something that would look insanely cool in a zoo/ museum!
okay but can we talk about how nice his dodo drawing looks
I like that when he talks about dinosaurs in the intro he plays the song in Bowser’s Fury (a game about a dinosaur) specifically when you are riding a dinosaur
why are the drawings actually good

Great drawings 2:33
As an artist I have some questions
Did you go to art school?
Are you a professional artist or do you just like to draw?
Do you have an art degree?
COOL DODO FACT: dodo's did eat pebbles to help break down food for them to digest (bad stomach acid :( )
Animals that lay eggs are the most difficult types of animals to clone, AKA, unextinct
Ok but WHAT IF we combined the Wooly Mammoth DNA and the incredibly large monkey DNA to make real yetis?!?
Love ur shirt!
Certainly! Here's a comment suggestion for "Resurrecting the BEST Extinct Animals":
"This video was mind-blowing! The idea of resurrecting extinct animals is fascinating and thought-provoking. It's amazing to see how far technology has come, and how we might be able to bring back species that once roamed the earth. However, it's also important to consider the ethical implications of this technology. I'm glad this video presented both sides of the argument. Thanks for the informative and engaging content!"
7:26 that is just a harmless squid. They look quite pretty up close 7:26
This made me subscribe
Arthropleuras sure are scary, but there is one thing you missed: we should bring them back as a non-violent solution to wars. Send them at the enemy and they will run for their lives.
thank you for playing the acnh airport music for the dodo portion.
Bro how do you draw so good man
I’d bring back terror birds. Imagine a giant flightless bird that you can ride and probably has the intelligence to be trained like a hawk. Also it hunted in the most metal way imaginable. It severed an animal’s spine with a sharp spike on it’s beak that it would slam down onto the prey’s neck, paralyzing it. Then it ate it alive, sometime’s while it was still conscious but unable to move.
If you forgot to bring back the Tiktaalik, Arthropleura, velociraptors (they were probably quite fluffy actually, who doesn't want a fluffy dinosaur the same size as a moderately large dog as a pet?), then we have some problems to sort out.
Fellow Arthropleura enjoyer? Have I found you?

@@justusb.plorer8773 yes
so who's gonna tell him we can't bring back the turtle?
i love how he puts a picture of girrafatitan when he was talking about brontosaurus in the beginning
I have an annual pass for my nearest charity-run zoo (Chester Zoo) and the elephants they have their are cool and they talk about the woolly mammoth in some of their signage and yeah I'd be into seeing them come back if they're as chill as elephants but also snug. It is actually a really interesting debate on whether to try and bring these animals back, and I am absolutely not qualified to join it, but considering how much work the zoo makes on conservation and breeding programmes to try and stop extinction, reversing it seems like the logical next step.

Chances of of Revival for each animal:
Wooly mammoth (100%) We are already discussing doing this, and we have a plan to do it
gigantopithecus (80%) we have a lot of primates to be able to bring back this guy
Dodo (93%) we have lots of fossils and many pigeon relatives to bring back the dodo
Arthropleura (34%) it’s been extinct since the Carboniferous but has a close relative
Archelon (67%) We have leather back sea turtle but it’s been extinct for a while
