- April 3, 2017 We meet for the first time and we enjoy our time together while he is staying here for almost 2 weeks... I love him so much, and i want to be with him for the rest of my life, i want to grow old with him... We're processing my visa right now and we are just waiting for the approval... hopefully it wont take too long to get our petition done... i am so excited to become his wife :) and meet his entire family...

So very cool! My gorgeous Filipina g/f just applied for her Visa yesterday, so hoping it gets approved by the time I go to Manila in September. I love hearing these stories of how dedicated US\PH couples are, very heartwarming. :)
sman64 she applied as tourist visa or you petition her as K1 visa? Tourist visa is easier but hard to get. Only lucky people got approved if applied tourist visa its one of our choice but we prefer the K1 to be sure its approved cause mostly 0.9% is the chance of getting a tourist visa especially when visiting a boyfriend. The consul/interviewer might recommend to your gf to applied Fiance visa rather than tourist visa. I have a friends who applied tourist visa but they got denied so they dont have a choice but to apply fiance visa. Good luck to her application. Hope she got lucky and got approved :)

Yes, totally! We talked about it and made the decision together about the K1, so she knows a proposal is coming - just not over IM. That will come in person over a good dinner when we meet (going to Boracay after we meet up in Manila), and course will formally ask her parents blessing and permission when I meet them in San Julian at the end of our vacation together. :) Bought the ring yesterday - hope she likes it!

@@glendajeanify Yes I just saw your vows in fact. I, too, found my Filipina from Ozamiz two years ago. I went to go meet her two months before you met your husband. Feb 2017! She got a visitor Visa and has already been here twice.
@@johnalcala WOW thats good, she got lucky to get approved under tourist visa, US Embassy in Manila is very strict mostly they dont allow the girl/boy to come to US under tourist visa especially when they have fiance here...

yes, im already here in US. I arrived here last December 2017, it wasn't that hard but yes it takes alot of patient and effort especially the waiting game, very frustrating on when we will get approved, but overall the interview at embassy it wasn't that hard... 😊
