Despite your tireless efforts to make people and government agencies aware of the gloomy state of our environment very little hope is discernible . Destruction in the name of development has ruined the fate of millions of common people but alas no change in the attitude of the the authorities. It is certainly disheartening. But the show must go on. You are playing the key role to overcome all the hurdles. The perils are knocking on the door. Hoping for a new morning under your leadership. Yes let's raise our voices. Let's shout until our voices don't let them sleep. But never to forget to 'do' & 'execute' our part to best. Sometimes the question we need to ask ourselves - r v doing our best, other than 'hoping' for our Governments to act.
Democratic countries used to have this thing called govt. Which used to work on these issues of spreading awareness etc. But since country got bestest PM ever, people stopped expecting anything from govt. Anything provided is started to be considered as blessings and non performance is getting defended. People stopped asking questions and even targeting those to ask questions.
@anurag01a Yes that would be very helpful indeed. What the people can also do on individual basis with our choices. Government regulations and laws can only go so far if people don't listen. We want development, jobs, health, housing but also save our environment. Public-private-government partnership is the way. People also need to curb wasteful spending and culture of use-throw.
Governments and companies like to make the individual believe that individual changes will make a lasting impact on the environment, when in fact these would have a minor impact on improvement of environment, compared to action taken by companies and governments
