This just leads me to believe that Lu Guang, to some degree, was responsible for Cheng Xiaoshi’s death. He obviously didn’t want him to die, but he probably made a mistake and now rewinds time over and over, trying to save him because he feels guilty. I’M NOT READY FOR YINGDU.
Remember how LG and QL agreed that CX was someone you’d wish to protect? I think he felt responsible for Cheng, like a guardian would do. So if something happens, no matter if he’s responsible, he will feel guilty for not being able to save Cheng or protect him

Gosh, I'm again so excited about it but at the same time so SCARED. Lu Guang must be in so much pain all the time but at the same time happy that he still has Cheng Xiaoshi by his side. OH MY GOD!!!!!!! This song broke me, I’m crying already and the season isn’t even out yet!!!! So I’m assuming that we’re seeing Lu Guang travel back to the beginning of him and CXS meeting on the basketball court, but it’s from a third person perspective like he’s a ghost and it might jump back to what happened and him jumping through time to the important parts of the story and the flashing scenes of him standing there are the timelines where he failed. This reminds me of Bioshock Infinite, he’s keeps resetting the timelines until he succeeds in saving his husband and the timeline we follow in S1/S2 is the successful timeline where he wins. Hopefully… 🤞🏼

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! This song broke me, I’m crying already and the season isn’t even out yet!!!! So I’m assuming that we’re seeing Lu Guang travel back to the beginning of him and CXS meeting on the basketball court, but it’s from a third person perspective like he’s a ghost and it might jump back to what happened and him jumping through time to the important parts of the story and the flashing scenes of him standing there are the timelines where he failed. This reminds me of Bioshock Infinite, he’s keeps resetting the timelines until he succeeds in saving his husband and the timeline we follow in S1/S2 is the successful timeline where he wins.
