I loved both Yolande and Pat. I was upset with Patrick for cheating on Yolande at his age.
Not sure what Patrick was thinking, Yolande was far better looking than Pat.
It's not all about looks. You can be brad pitt/ cindy crawford and still be cheated on. Often, in relationships/ marriage, boredom sets in, and love doesn't last. Again, even looks often aren't enough to sustain it. I suppose that's why they say, "Never marry for love."
I love this scene and their mini feud but the writing is so inconsistent. Yolande slaps Pat in the vic for sleeping with Patrick and Pat whacks her back, yelling "That's the last time you hit me" then in this scene, she says "Hit me if it makes you feel better" Yolande does and she doesn't retaliate. It's like the writer changed overnight and didn't know what had happened in the episode before lol!
Pat slapping Yolande back would have been too nervy. It was already a lot with her coming to talk to Yolande after she and Patrick betrayed Yolande the talking about Yolande letting such a stupid thing ruin her marriage.
