There are people out there who experience this kind of abuse every day. These stories are so important in highlighting the reality of it. 10/10 performance, it really hits hard.
Yeah, but you shouldn't play with fire. Dude grabbed her ass and her thighs. She then went back to him and paid the price. She should've steered clear of him. When he started trying to gaslight her, she should've mentioned the ass grabbing thing.
it happened to me. my ex husband.it still hurts today after 12 years. its worse thing no one should ever go through. he you used get drunk he was pure evil
One of the most moving and harrowing episodes in the show's history. Angela Wynter is a phenomenal actress 👏👏👏👏👏👏 She deserves a BAFTA for her incredible performance.
Absolutely not. Awful acting. EastEnders need to pull their socks up. This is very low standard. No wonder people are cancelling their TV licences in droves
That would be breaking her promise and yolande’s trust tho so probably not the best idea, I do hope she or Patrick convince her to go to the police or atleast therapy
There are five other women out there that this slimy pastor has done this too. We need to find them and have Yolande meet them and when they find out he did this to all of them they need to band together and put this disgusting man away. Absolutely awful that he goes from place to place doing the same thing. He always gave me the creeps watching him but now I know why. I hope Denzel notices that there is something different about Yolande, because we know he would deal with the pastor in a heartbeat. I don't see Yolande telling Patrick, she is just going to put it away and act as if it did not happen, but it will replay in her mind though. You cannot forget something like that EVER!!!
I think this was really hard to watch as it's so appalling that Yolande went through that. But I do think it's good for this stuff to be highlighted on EastEnders so victims can speak out. It just makes me sick that some people don't respect other people's bodies. Your body is your body, no one should take your power away from you as it's your right to decide who can and can't touch your body. Someone disrespecting someone else to that extent will never be okay. It's saddening that victims blame themselves when it's just the perpetrator that is 100% to blame, they need to be held accountable. Such a sensitive issue but so important.
The lady who plays Yolande is an amazing actress. I feel so sorry for Yolande. That pastor was always such a creep, like literally the way who talked felt so fake from the very start. People who are genuinely religious wouldn't go about harming people, it's highly disturbing and sickening that the pastor did this and is taking advantage of women. Disgraceful.
@GavinGas that's your personal opinion, but NOT MINE. I stand for what I said. Maybe we are from different country and have different opinion regarding acting.
@@michaell.9253 good for you. It's good that people have different opinions. I like the actor, I just thought she the acting in this episode was awful. And the storyline is tacky and poorly portrayed. Quite typical of EastEnders. They haven't done a good job with this one.
Poor Yolande she didn't deserve at all to suffer a extreme awful bad experience, now she has confided to Elaine that she has been raped by that creep Pastor Clayton, Yolande really needs to tell Patrick about her rape, just hope she goes to the police and have the pastor arrested and charged ofr raping Yolande, and just hope that the other 5 wonen really do come forward and to have the creep prosecuted and to be put awsy in prison..☹😠
reporting it and having to recount what JUST happened and having a stranger prod and poke at your body to gather evidence is just as traumatic for some people which is why she didnt

I hope Elaine can get her the help she needs, talk to Linda and stacey to see if they can help her as they've had to go through this ordeal themselves
That would be breaking her promise and yolande’s trust tho so probably not the best idea, I do hope she or Patrick convince her to go to the police or atleast therapy
Elaine as a motor mouth . i wouldn't trust her as far as the other side of the pub bar

They really shouldn't have brought her back. This storyline is tacky. EastEnders can surely do better than this
Brilliant episode. Thank you 😊
Great bit of acting ladies ...👏👏
😢😢😢 something needs to be done about this creep. He can't get away with this.
This was utterly heartbreaking- I hope Yolande gets help 💔
Ohhh no poor yolande😢😢😢😢
Nobody deserves this happen to them
This so heartbroken
I'm going through that stage at the moment but the police is dealing with it and things are getting better for me and not him my eldest step brother
Sorry to hear I hate that happened to
You you are strong and you will come out on top
@huss353 thank you I am getting there but it is taking its time
Glad you are getting better and speaking out. He will surely have what he deserves coming to him..
@milimosweta4327 thank you. Well I know that he has been lying about everything that he has lost in front of his family and making his life worse
stay strong I hope it all goes okay
Excellent acting from Angela Wynter ❤❤
Love Angela Wynter ❤ heartbreaking storyline though 💔 I so can relate to it...Poor Yolande 😢
Fabulous actress
Not in this case. This storyline has been poorly portrayed. EastEnders really need to try a bit harder. This makes for tedious telly.
Amazing actress!
Very weak acting. Not at all absorbing. EastEnders sunk to a new level. Barely even watchable

I'm sick of all stories like this in seaplane that the person don't report it right away she needs to report it
reporting it and having to recount what JUST happened and having a stranger prod and poke at your body to gather evidence is just as traumatic for some people which is why she didnt
Because they are scared of the backlash, or that they won’t be believed . It takes a lot of courage to report it
Who they talking about 😊
Yolande. She was sexually assaulted. Watch the episode. The answer is here though:
The pastor
what exactly happened!
The Six Women are still going down for Keanu's murder and they still underestimated Dean.
Grow up.

That's actually a good storyline. This garbage with Yolande is very low standard. Awful telly. And weak acting
Eijts they are on soaps people laughing stock not nice
I think they should have made Phil the Rapist it would be a new story for his character for a change.
😂
@@suicidal9480 wouldn't be too far fetched he's practically raped Ian in the past.
