So the abonimable snowman is ginger. I knew It!! Love your vids man. Fort William is one of my fave places. Just beautiful. Went with my wife in the winter for a spot of snowboarding and took a dip in the icy lockness. Great memories
Nice to see some BTS stuff about how you got there and the Bro's that bailed. I'm a cold sleeper, a bag rated -1c is probably a +10c bag for me. I don't care about bulk/weight if I need sleep I have to be comfortable so its a summer bag inside an autumn bag both synthetic with nothing on the outside that could prevent evaporation. Plus a water bottle in a sock with hot water. I've learned the hard way about how cold I get even in spring and autumn. A high R rated sleeping pad with a blanket and a reflective car windscreen blind or foil insulation is a good addition. We've lost the snow here now it's back to the monsoon. Another good video. Hope you had a pleasant trip back down south.
Nice to see the rest of your trip. You'd have died on the summit in that weather. The coldest I've felt is minus 24 in arctic Finland last year. That was cold obviously, but it was some how dry cold, Scotland is damp cold and it gets tonyour bones! Addictive though isn't it!
Every time I go wintercamping, I have to force myself to realize that a vapour barrier liner is absolutely essential for a down sleeping bag in freezing temperatures. Without it, especially in a bivouac sack, you will be sorry the next night, at least that's my experience. Breathing inside your bivouac sack of course adds to the problem.

I've burnt up my boots once not good walking out barefoot lol ( I passed out drunk with my feet too close to the fire with my boots still on I was 19 at the time lol.) How can u not eat pickles bro ? That's a deal breaker lol . 😂
I find it strange how you probably spend a considerable amount of money on trains and hotels, but plan your adventure using kit that is way short of being up the temperatures expected.

Maybe can’t afford to do both but still wants to go to those places. I couldn’t do it myself though as I feel the cold.
