I have the x10 and love it, a buddy of mine has the jbl $300 speaker and he was like WOW i would of saved a lot of money. The key to the x10 is to put the volume at max on the speaker itself and use your phone to control the volume from there and you will be even happier. On the weekends when we are at our campsite and at the pool the x10 is the life of the party and i dont have to worry about the splashing because its ipx6
yes i had two x10-1s. they are good loud speakers, alot louder than my jbl extreme 1 and my 2.

@@hotdiam not sure what kind of hokey-pokey is going on with prices in Nigeria, but in America these two are only about $15 difference. SO they are VERY comparable in size, performance and PRICE.

Always listen to MORE than One reviewer before you make a choice....sometimes individual perceptions can be tricky thing
If you have an EQ on your phone and turn on the EQ on the speaker, that’s what creates the distorted base. Don’t touch the EQ on the S67 and it’s fine.
It’s pretty much two EQ’s running at the same time which creates a god awful distortion either during bass heavy volumes or the high and mids
Other than that the s67 sounds great. Idk what all the hate is about I love it. Also I’m an avid Sonos user so I know my audio quite well.
Negative on that, my man. No EQ being used 3rd party and it distorts badly. If I had a 3rd party EQ with bass boosted the S67 would probably explode. 🤯
Some months earlier i have tried to see what would happens if i put the boost on the bass too much, and it s happened a bad thing, basically the speaker start to vibrate a lot and after some time one of the passive radiator damaged, after that the sound start to be even worse so i have returned to amazon and i was refunded. Unfortunately i didnt know you and i have done the mistake to buy one of these but now i have some wking speaker and they are good.

Thanks Jay, if it weren't for your successful demonstration, I would have made the mistake of buying the ZEALOT 67 instead of the W-King X10 if it is very clear that the W-King far surpasses the other speaker also that I liked the W-King strap better , I already realize why the W-King costs more than the Zealot, congratulations for this demonstration

I just returned my Zealot speaker because the distortion was unbearable. Purchased the W-King and it's light years better.
This is sadly the case. Too bad you didn't see this comparison prior to your purchase of the S-67.

1:15 Now there is a choice. One can choose the short brown handle (option called "Belt") or a shoulder-length black strap (option called "Strap"). No price difference.
Doesn't change the fact that the speaker is lousy.

You saved me from wasting money! I just thought I'd mention the new S-67 strap option since it was added after this episode was recorded.
@@bryanbryant9962 the X10 is a much better speaker, so you are good. If Zealot would have used some sort kind DSP to control the distortion this could have been a much better speaker than it is as released .

Not the case, buddy. I watched a video of the s67 from another guy and he was saying how it had good bass, but you could clearly hear lots of distortion. The s67 is a dud.

My own is taking too long to reach 100% percent charging status. Up to 10hrs it's still at 90%. So I want to know if it happens with your own or it's a problem with mine.

I don't use mine much, since I think it's a very mediocre speaker. I do know I have read of many issues with the battery. If you do deplete the battery completely and try and charge it and play at the same time it won't play.. that's usually a sign of a cheap speaker and battery.
Any update on how long the battery lasts at full volume for the s67?

You would need a European power brick to plug the USB-A end of the charging cable into.

Zealot extra distortion can be managed by mobile equalizer app.
Correct. With the speaker's complete lack of DSP, you can basically zap the bass out of the speaker at higher volume with an EQ to tame the distortion. It makes the speaker sound very mediocre and cheap. So if you want to keep adjusting EQ settings based on how loud you are listening, it's doable.

I have 2 zealots and 2 wking 10s they both sound much much better linked, stereo is the best way to go. zealots if you turn boost the highs when playing loud it does limit the base distortion. I am a metal head and any bluetooth speaker has its work cutout playing heavy metal, they need to make a bluetooth speaker designed for metal music.

the same with sony party speakers ibve compared lg rn9 to samsung mxt70 the samsung t70 bass rolls off at 45 vol and the max vol is 50 the sound profile changes
while the lg dosent have a bass roll off at higher volumes the lg rn9 distorts technically the t70 is better

Probabably even they don t know what is the real wattage, is a good method to confuse the people better or scam them😂😂😂, btw is the same because on amazon they says 75watts but on the manual on the box it s says 60watts lol, for me maximum is 60watts on even a little bit less

Charge 5 would be the closer JBL contender, but the S67 can't hang at over 60% vol. when the distortion monster arises out of this cheap Chinese speaker.

Bass is the strength and weakness of the S67. At mid to low volume the bass sounds good. Above that it distorts and ruins the sound. Not a good speaker. ☹️
How long does the battery last at full volume?
I couldn't tell you since I couldn't stand to listen to this speaker through a full battery run.
People just want to have something to say this Zealot is 60k here and the X10 is 180k to warrant this comparison am sure it's pretty good enough there's someone also comparing it with Xtreme three of 200k men make all of unna just rest

Zealot s67 bass sound better harder hit
The S67 does have nice bass output. That is it's strength and it's weakness. Past mid volume to higher volume it gets distorted and sounds lousy.
I have that speaker and the sound quality is amazing…the bass is crazy.. this video did not do it any good.
It has a lot of distortion and uncontrolled bass at higher volume. Glad you like it, however.

If you read some owner reviews there are many complaints about short battery life on the S67. Not a chance it will last 45 hours. 🤥

You have to pick the brown handle or the shoulder strap. You don't get both.
