For the solid plastic boning, although there is a curve already present you can flatten it out by ironing it on a LOW heat with a pressing cloth and no steam; this softens the plastic enough to relax that curve. Useful for applications where you have an S-shaped curve!
Came here for the lesson but man I can't help but drool over those creations around you especially the gold one and the black rose(?) patterned one behind. truly magnificent thank your for sharing your knowledge.
I am so greatful I found dis group, I have always made a mistake inserting my boning and I always felt my boning not snatching my waist, with dis I won't make any mistake, thank u so much
This video is so incredibly helpful! I feel like I have received the same level of information regarding corsetry/boning here that I did during my degree but the only difference is your video provides more detail and is easier to understand. I understood your explanations so much more, I wish I’d found your video when I was making my 3rd year costume 😅 Thankyou for sharing your expertise ☺️
That white umbella style skirt is impeccable I can imagine it without the boning looking material but in neons using pvc umbrella material as part of a futuristic structured rain jacket omg! And beige or black mid lenth dress I'm a knit for office wear and nape of the neck bun pointed slingback shoes in either black or taupe and unique saddle style purse! Sunglasses in square terminator shape bold red lip no blush minimum eye makeup!
