McCarthy? Come on! We don't need a retread!
Always liked Coach Wannstedt but McCarthy's red zone offense has not been great in Dallas. He also is not a tough guy the Cowboys have been near top of the league in penalties which usually revolves around discipline issues. Bears could do worse but should be looking for better. If we do not land Johnson why not make hard push for Aaron Glenn.
Let McCarthy pick his own defensive coordinator.
McCarthy is the best choice. This team needs an experienced, alpha coach. It’s naive to think Ben Johnson will replicate Detroit in Chicago ; that’s Dan Campbells team , plus they have the best OLine in the NFL and more talent than the Bears in all facets.
If MM is out Bears hire, I’m done being a Bears fan. I don’t think I can continue to follow a franchise that simply does not care to win.
It's absolutely hilarious to listen to Wanny with all this info and both these hosts are lost in their own clueless NFL opinions... one guy should stick w the Cubs and the other still barely belongs on the half hour 6pm show like before
Mike would make a good coach but I want Ben
McCarthy is a great coach. A Super Bowl champion.
These old guys haven’t realized that this ain’t 1980 football nomore lol
As Andy Reid wins back to back super bowls and is favored for a third.
DW is a good guy but horrible football coach and bad at talent evaluation
It will be another 1st timer, just like QB,s they don't have to pay every 4 years. Same old Bears, either an old over the hill coach or a 1st timer
Dave don’t know what he talking bout 😂 he was saying the Bears was gone keep Justin
Johnson is good but I would pass on him as he never been a head coach. I would go with someone has been a HC before.
No, no no we don’t want them here. We won Ben Johnson.
Who's Ben Johnson?
I want Ben Johnson but McCarthy is cool too
I also don't think he'll be the bears coach.
Why does this bum have any stance on anything was a terrible coach what does he know
A hell of alot more than you ever will.
So where's that leave your opinion?
He knows alot more than bears fans.. bears fans are a huge part of the disfunction of your team, everytime it does not go your way you form mobs and get the talent fired.
Hes not a disciplinarian, Gruden is the better pick and he will bring in a better staff and has a resume
Good!!! Detroit has 2 good years out of a lifetime, and we're supposed to think the OC is the new Bill Belichick. Get off Detroits nuts. Pick the best candidate and not who the media think the Bears should have.
As a lions fan I hope Ben stays far far away from the nfc
Ben's going to Jacksonville.
Mike seems like a typical bears hire. Dave was an incompetent HC so I take what he says with a grain of salt
I am on team McCarthy. I don’t want another first time OC
This is gotta be the worse takes in history. Ain’t no way in hell that we want a trash coach
McCarthy couldn't beat GB at home in Dallas with a stacked Cowboys roster all pros on every level. So it's a HELL NO
1 comment. Dak Prescott.
The defense got run over not the offense
Can we just get the right guy for once!!! Wtf it has to be BEN! WTF
Why? Because he's an offensive coordinator who's had success for 3 years? Because the Chicago Media keeps wanting it? The Bears hired the hot Coordinator before. He's in this video. The Hot Coordinator has failed repeatedly (more often than they succeed) in NFL History. Being a Coordinator and a Head Coach are totally different. Football fans in this era (especially Chicago fans) are dumb.
@@THEalexBalleseethey should look up Aaron Rodgers, Dak, and CeeDee’s stats. The best thing about Mike is knowing how to get his playmakers the ball.
All these fans complaining but would take Tomlin in a heartbeat 😂
BEN JOHNSON is not coming here.... GET MCCARTHY IF YOU CAN, but the bears will choose somebody we don't really know
This turd was 40-56 as bears coach. 1-11 vs GB. Why does anyone in Chicago give him time? Is Trestman going to weigh in next?
The bears will hire someone that nobody knows, it’ll be someone from the k c chiefs, it’ll be the guy that fills the footballs with air before the game. When asked why make him the head coach they’ll say because he knows pressure and he’s cheap.😂
I don’t get why they keep bringng Dave on as an “expert” he is old and don’t know the game.
Eberflus had the players play hard. Most NFL players play hard. If that’s it hire me.
I like Dave but his coaching was not good picking coordinators
