Spent last Christmas in Lombok and New Years on Gili Air… went home to US in mid January… sold everything I owned and came back to Indonesia in late July… going back to Lombok again this Christmas and staying longer in Senggigi… We went to Pura Bata Bolong there, the Hindu Temple on the beach… a little dog met us at the gate and accompanied us around the entire shrine and delivered us back to the front entrance when we were done. He was such a sweet old soul, very wise and patient and kind. He was our tour guide and I’ll bet he does that with lots of visitors every day! I want to go back to see if he’s still there and bring him a biscuit! Senggigi is a power spot - a geomántico lokasi. You can feel it when you are there. When more ppl find out it will become too popular and become crowded like Ubud.

I did stay at Sheraton while I was Lombok and yes Senggigi Beach is nice especially at sunset
