I’ve learned to get good with Kylo, but he’s very easy to beat with other heroes. You can easily block his pull and freeze, then go to town on him. With a blaster, all you need to do is dodge then he goes down super fast with any blaster.

I’ve been playing Palpatine in HVV a lot recently. I was never very good with him but once you get used to his movement he’s just so good. I’d put him in top 5 before Kylo or Han but that’s just me
Palp is amazing but he doesn’t have great defense. He can easily be shot down by blaster heroes, and a good team will get you killed while you’re floating down really slow. He’s still REALLY good tho
Depends on the map and situation, but with the right cards obi wan can just block until an enemy runs out of stamina or over heats their blaster then just cut them down. Also never under estimate that force push. Very useful even in tights spots
@@catsharkthe85th I don’t think there’s an area anakin shines better than obi-wan, obi-wan is good for basically all game modes and he does very good against multiple opponents whereas after nerfs anakin is not so good due to his stamina drain and buggy abilities
I agree with all 5 Grievous is comical now but it needed to be done. Kinda surprised Iden wasn’t up there but it’s tough to compete with those 5. Probably in top 10 though
I disagree completely. Kylo is really strong. Grievous is also still very good, but they nerfed him hard after my final ranking came out. I'd probably place him around 6th or 7th overall, personally at least.
Mines gonna be a really controversial list but mine currently sits as: 1. Rey- great for team; heavy damage with charge+swing combo 2. Kylo- perfect for taking out a group of blaster heroes in HvV 3. Dooku- duellist + expose weakness + card buffs 4. Leia- the definition of “call an ambulance but not for me” *proceeds rapid fire* 5. Obi-wan- great for blocking and for violent ability-spamming enemies like kylo or Maul.
I’d personally say Vader #1, he’s Vader there is no if, ands, or buts, Grievous #2, he still has claw rush and flesh is weak. Grievous has just way to many strengths to make him not even top. I agree with everything else besides Anakin and no palp. Anakin has really bad stamina that can be managed but not without taking a hit or two, he’s glitchy, and he has no secure way of getting safe kills besides a pull heroic might here and there. I just feel that his play style is too risky because of glitches and improper damage reduction timings. I love playing him but he just doesn’t compete with the rest Id say. Also palps is palps, he’s still a really good hero.
I have to disagree personally Grievous is really handicapped in hvv, I’d go so far as to say he’s a bottom 2 saber hero in that mode. He has below average mobility without claw rush, he has the worst stamina of any saber hero along with having a slow swing speed and short swing range. Unrelenting advance is a handicap 95% of the time, thrust surge is telegraphed and highly risky, and without follow-up hits claw rush is only good as a mobility tool and for killing off weak opponents. He gets absolutely destroyed by blaster heroes on large open maps and struggles when outnumbered. You have to play a super cautious hit-and-run play style to get anywhere with him.
Yeah if this is overall I’d put him in 5th best. If this is just hero’s I’d put him 1 and if this is just trooper I’d put him like 12th. So I still think he should be top 5 though.

@@alibi4483 What qualifies as an “exploit” though. It’s not easily defined and if you can do it perfectly normally and easily without getting banned or suffering any repercussions than why not? The game gets no more updates it’s not like this will be patched out. Besides I’m pretty sure the devs have acknowledged parrying before and they never wanted to remove it because it’s so widespread within the community. If you’re not doing it you should or else you’re holding urself back a lot. Think of it more as a “tech” than an exploit. Prolly wasn’t supposed to be in the game but it’s a cool feature you can do that’s gonna stay in the game forever.
Good list, top 4 have been solidified with the final patch. Only debatable part is whether number 5 goes to Han or Palps. I say Palps due to his greater mobility/survivability and aoe damage but Han’s still a good pick.
Obi-Wan is in my opinion the best. His stamina is unmatched, and his force push ability is INSANELY strong, one hitting troopers and throwing heroes off cliffs like nothing. Also, his right ability is perfect for disengaging any combat. Muting enemy abilities is also nice, but has to be timed perfect.
I just love playing as Chewie in hero game modes, he’s such a strong and underrated hero, I mean think about it his crossbow can damage lightsaber heroes EVEN IF they’re blocking the shots, he has a rapid fire, and 2 stun abilities, and one of them deal some pretty hefty damage! I swear Chewie has to be one of the best heroes in HVV and showdown
don't underestimate Lando, with somebody else helping, he can seriously close a gap with his stun, even hit Boba when he's flying (sometimes and when he isn't too far)

I have had Han written off for a long time. But 1 week ago I decided to try him out and, he is fricken God send. I wiped the floor with a Maul and Kylo for the whole HVV match.
I’ll put yoda as the best for light side , luke is great and all but compared to yoda hard hit box which makes him hard to hit and as quick as he moves plus he’s the only light side hero with a healing ability which helps in tough situation especially along with the health on kill
I know a way to easily counter han. Go up close to them, block, wait for them to use their abilities, block those, slash them, wait for them to roll, slash them again, they roll again, I slash them again.
If you’re gonna make a list you should split it between blaster/range heroes and then lightsaber heroes. I think blaster heroes are superior in 4v4 and in general when they know how to play so it’s ignorant to intermix the lists. Like you could easily put so many of these heroes in the “Top 5”. I’m addition to that less experienced players could get a more accurate rating on heroes and who to maybe play vs not play
There is a bug that benefits anakin. While you are pressing heroic might move the left stick clockwise at the same time you are pressing the ability. Reduce damage will be like old times without one hit kill on villains
Anakin is great but sometimes his ability’s bug like I save up retribution to use on four people and he just doesn’t use it or heroic might I use it and try to cancel as soon as I can hit them with it but it doesn’t work sometimes
To be honest I think that at least one of Rex, Cody, Wolf should be in top 5 like I'm pretty sure Rex could beat Han solo in 1vs1 battle and he could even be able to beat the Young Luke. In the clone wars these clones were smarter than the jedi and even in some cases more effective on the battle field
In my opinion boba fett should make the top five hes hard to counter if u use your fuel wisely and use ur ion to escape and the only hero that has a direct counter is anakin
I think iden is 5 just because you can ruin anyones day, long range you have the pulse rifle, you have a fast shooting gun with an explosive secondary fire great with dealing with blocking lightsabers, you can shock hero’s and headshot them and ruin their day, you have a shield that doesn’t remove with damage.
Rey’s one of my favourite characters to play with. She’s really useful in both Heroes v Villains and Galactic assault because she’s really good to use in team games due to insight. Plus so many people dont know how to continue playing whilst mindtrick is enabled. Moreover her stamina is really good, so a charge with a good-timed saber-swing can do some really heavy damage
Han solo only relies on his grenade to do the damage... fr if we're being honest, any force sensitive jedo/sith could snatch that grenade and pistol and he will be useless... lets talk about the shoulder ability. Han rushes into a sith which is blocking with his lightsaber and still creates damage.
Its difficult to pick a top 5 across both sides, but its pretty easy for light/dark. We'll go worst to best. Light: Anakin, Obi, Luke, Leia, Han (people really sleep on obi for some reason, and Anakin isn't as good as people make him out to be. If you have a brain his only real threat is his pull.) Dark: Iden, Boba, Palpatine, Kylo, Vader Together (really could change people are so close imo): Kylo, Luke, Leia, Han, Vader ~1k hours in the game, mostly in HVV at this point.

At this moment Kylo is number 1 for me, he's a Darth Vader that has lower health but is much quicker and has 2 of the most op abilities Force Pull and Freeze if you combine both together, it's over
Agree, he has 1000hp with FIW, 160 LS damage with ST and all of his weaknesses Mainly poor blaster deflection can be mostly avoided by simply playing smarter and more efficiently.
I only can agree in one thing Vader is top 1. In the rest of the top 5 for me is situational or personal preference. I play all heroes depending on map, mode, team, enemy or what i feel like playing ofc but also some ppl just likes lightsabers others just blasters

Nah there’s a glitch you can do on command that gives him a 4th freenzy hit that’s also unblockable
But he can still be pushed or pulled while in frenzy, which is what happens 80% of the time

Grievous with his Heath regen cards is a damn machine. Easily a first phase through final phase hero. Absolutely devastating in the right hands.

Ill never forget how as Solo on Hoth (heroes vs villains) map I killed Maul and Vader. I shoot Vader and i pushed Maul of cliff with his bomb.

At this moment Kylo is number 1 for me, he's a Darth Vader that has lower health but is much quicker and has 2 of the most op abilities Force Pull and Freeze if you combine both together, it's over
Grevious with Flesh is Weak being not on this list is a crime
Agree, he has 1000hp with FIW, 160 LS damage with ST and all of his weaknesses Mainly poor blaster deflection can be mostly avoided by simply playing smarter and more efficiently.
Flesh doesn't give 200 health lol

In the rest of the top 5 for me is situational or personal preference. I play all heroes depending on map, mode, team, enemy or what i feel like playing ofc but also some ppl just likes lightsabers others just blasters
