  • The SFWDA Spring 2018 Meet and Ride was held at Busted Knuckle OHV Park March 10. We had 3 drive down from Knoxville Saturday morning. This was the shakedown run for Jara’s LS3/XD60/ProRock80. It rained for a few hours but then was overcast the rest of the day. We got on the trail around 10:00 am and exited the trail around 6:30 pm. The RockYour4x4 ‘07 JK lost a tire to a sidewalk puncture and the ‘13 JK lost power steering toward the end of the day. The best news was that the fresh build and parts on Jara’s ‘14 worked flawlessly, and 450hp is fun!

    I'm so glad I don't have to Jeep in your area. Low traction requires considerable builds to survive that kind of offroading. My modified Liberty surprises Wrangler drivers by what it can do in the Colorado Rockies, but wouldn't be worth squat there. Nice vid.

      R D the dark blue JK has 12” front and 14” rear. It sits low at approx 3” over stock height. So far it has done well and has made a trip across country and back. He’s been running those for 2 years now.

      awesome thank you! i'm sitting on 40's now (2d 2012 jk) with a coilover conversion (kings), I have a stroke length of 14" in the front and 16" in the rear... can I go directly across with the ORI's? (14 and 16's) when I go to order them or is there a different way of measuring the length of the ORI's because they're gas-preloaded (top pressure and bottom pressure)? any help would be appreciated! thank you!

      I was thinking I was to low with the 5:38s with the 6.2ls and a 3.8 atlas .....I was thinking of 4:88 to let it stretch a little but then again I would like to go from 40s to 42s here in a couple yrs

    • @rockyour4x4
      @rockyour4x4  5 років тому +1

      R D yes, it’s too low currently. It has a Rubi case and 5.38s. His 3:1 Atlas came in last week.
