  • Testing a VBAR Neo and Roban AS350 without the fuselage.
    Used the Scale XL setup values and increased the gains and pre comp values to get a nice tail control.
    1340 rpm head speed provided good tail control with piro stops good. 1240 rpm headspeed noted a depreciation in tail control with stops overshooting and collective climb outs not lock in.
    These adjustments were to maximize the helicopters tuning ability with aggressive flying controls not used in scale flying. Having a tune control loop ensures that the mechanics without its fuselage is adjusted to provide favorable flight characteristic results.
