Great setup, looks awesome. I also have a white platinum with 2” level and 295/60r/20 and I have new 20” vision rocker 412s +12 offset gloss black in the garage going to be installed in 2 days. Haven’t seen many videos with platinums and leaving all the chrome and putting black/satin wheels on it. After seeing this I’m excited to seeing my pickup after the rims get installed! Also I have the platinum letters white on the back appliqué as well. Looks so much better.
@@DJKiDDKlashez I actually just switched my order to a 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands. I think I'll be doing an overland build so I'll probably be making some videos on that.
Love the truck. Your service advisor is advising you incorrectly though. They systems will work “fine”, however lane keep assist and adaptive cruise both rely on cameras which are calibrated at particular angles. They’ll need a recalibration. Very nice truck though and I’ve been looking at the same wheels to replace my Fuel Rebels.
They actually don’t need recalibration for a level. Lift kit, yes, but just a level, no. They have an angle “range” and as long as you are staying within that range, systems work as they should. Otherwise you’d need to recalibrate every time you hooked up a trailer or put something in the bed and the angle changed. My only regret with these wheels (personally) was getting the 20”. With I had got 18” and keep rubber close to 33” tall (stock) and just went wider on the rubber. Doesn’t look as good on a 20 inch wheel.
@@PlatinumPeasant Going to have to respectfully disagree as I worked for Ford for over 10 years, specifically in this area. Hooking up a trailer is a different scenario, primarily because it’s not permanent and some of these systems turn off when a trailer is attached. While I agree they will still work and probably will not cause an issue, the best thing to tell people is to recalibrate. For example lane keep assist specifically asks for fender to ground height when calibrating. But you should be fine and the truck looks nice!

This truck is the pinnacle of technology. I have the same truck on order in a power boost. How did you over come the speedometer , odometer and MPG differences created from the larger tires and does it leave you open for any factory warrantee claims being denied ?.
