@danibond1679 but they are supposed to make a reasonable attempt to pull you over. They are supposed to make sure you can see them behind you before calling it a pursuit, hence why you don't ever see "truck pulling camper chased by police" in the paper. If you pass a cop and they don't pull out, you aren't running. If they do, and you see their lights and don't stop, then you're running and they are gonna put out a bolo on your vehicle, with as detailed of a description as they can.
