Fatty/damaged liver often includes insulin resistance- which I have. How can you recommend so many highly glycemic carbohydrates that will further elevate blood sugar levels?
Insulin resistance is caused by fat and cholesterol. It's in every bite of animal product and processed food that we eat. That fat is then deposited into our muscle cells and liver. Because the cells are oversaturated with high energy fat, the cells "resist" when insulin is trying to bring glucose into the cells. Because of this resistance, the pancreas then creates more insulin to get glucose inside the cells. If fat from animal product or excess oils are mostly eliminated from the diet ( yes we need fats, but can easily get from nuts, avocado, whole olives) then the cells should respond to insulin more appropriately and utilize the glucose effectively. Low fat diet means littlle to no fat being deposited in your liver. You should check out Cyrus Khambatta. He has a PhD in biochemistry and lives with type 1 diabetes. Consumes something like 700 G of whole carbs a day and uses minimal insulin.
Yup, bloody ridiculous. There's a damn lot of sugar to be metabolized by the liver in that diet, esp. fructose, which puts extra load on the organ that's trying to recover, eg. fatty liver....🤔
You are beautiful and great at presenting. Unfortunately so many of the ingredients in these meals are actually terrible on the liver. These dishes are great for someone without liver problems. I hope you do more videos, but with more research done in advance. Take care. DRB
You can be born with Cirrhosis as well...And by the way sodium should be very at an all time minimum when you suffer from PSC, and other liver diseases, which includes Cirrhosis. Your specialist will give you the amount of you should consume depending on your test results. BTW this meal would be more suitable without the parmesan!
Many thanks, I have been researching "reduce inflammation" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Bachalaswin Better Body Rule - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my co-worker got excellent results with it.
I find this video pretty misleading. There are several stages of Cirrhosis. IF one is to eat this at a later stage of cirrhosis, its going to make his condition worse. Main thing is to avoid preservatives, salt & oil especially. Boiled leafy vegetables and reduced poultry and no meat. I do like the front portion of the video though, it is pretty detailed. However, is this the "best" food for cirrhosis patients, I dont think so. Just my opinion.
Thanks a lot mam for this amazing video as i was suffering from some liver health problems but after consuming your diet along with using Planet Ayurveda Yakrit Plihantak Churna for last 6 months and now am totally fine
Before making these kinds of videos, I think it's your responsibility to consult a Gastroenterologist and Licensed Nutritionist. Because this is misleading people. Do you think any kinds of OIL ( and oily food) and CHEESE NOT supposed to be taken by one with cirrhosis? The challenge is to avoid oil. SO basically it is hard to find delicious and healthy food that are not cooked with even little amount of OIL or that contains recipes cheese or any milk or cream.
this is really a joke, pls dont give wrong information to the people. how can you give these recipes which are so high in sodium. soya sauce, have read the nutritional chart on it, how much soduim.it has ?. first do your research and then speak.
The Annelise Life Low salt is another mistake promoted by the corrupt medical industry. More salt, more natural high fat, do not eat wheat or any other grain, do not eat vegetables that grow under ground, and especially do not consume any sugar and eat very low carbs.
Knowledge Hunt Salt is not bad for the liver. It is good for the entire body. Watch this from Dr. Ken Berry MD. ua-cam.com/video/1lpH06ely7E/v-deo.html
I thought she would recommend some wine too you know because its good for the heart. You want protein for the liver but people are brain washed about meat.
Thank you very much for the best and quick way to get the best and seems delicious food for people who are having liver disease . We will follow your guide . God bleed you be successful.
They said cheese and salt are not good for people with Liver disease ? Everybody is giving different advised , said coffee helps the liver, here coffee is bad.
That’s a lot of salt. That’s a no no. Limit salt to 2,000 mg per day which is 3/4 of a teaspoon of salt. So your almost salt free diet. Stay away from any processed food and fast food. Also eating out you don’t know how much salt is used in the kitchen. Some say I don’t salt my food when it comes to the table.
Ahh Coffee is recommended and great for people with Cirrhosis. You may need to google that as caffeine has been linked to a lower incidence of HCC- Heptocellular Liver cancer. Google that.

My husband can only have 2000 mg of salt a day. Your pasta recipe contains 2000 mg.
