When Azealia said that, “Nicki was bullied out of being herself” I really felt and see that. You can see examples of this in every hip/hop music reviewer- who isn’t mentally prepared to run into an alternative artist. And radio shows like The Breakfast Club certainly don’t help w/ the banter and never changing musical taste/knowledge. It’s not that I need anything in particular from Nicki, I just want her to HONESTLY do whatever her heart leads her to.

I agree with most everything on this video except the dancing…. Zach will be disappointed if he’s expecting Nicki to be doing dancing. It’s not her thing & NOT EVERY GIRL NEEDS TO DO THAT! We need to appreciate what each artist brings to the table & what makes them authentic. Nicki will give you a performance , and acting, and theater , and sickening looks. But not dancing. It's also because alot of times Nicki's ft is the reason some people will end up liking that song because she usually never disappoints. Theatrics deserve to be in rap and everyone saw that. That’s why so many are trying to emulate Nicki’s personas from back in the day. I want Nicki to know that it IS her persona and it doesn’t need to be left in 2010-2013.

It’s just that Nicki is sadly pretty competitive and that really showed during the Queen era, where instead of having confidence, she really showed her competitive side, especially during that whole Travis Scott/Stormi debacle. But at the same time, the music industry and the media in general did her extremely dirty. They knew how to get under her skin since Cardi was popping off as the new girl and people were gravitating towards her instead of Nicki at the time. But at the same time, Nicki didn’t deliver the way she usually does. God will only know why she didn’t. I just hope she has better focus in this era.
It’s like her Reputation era. You asked for No Drama but we want all the smoke and she can address all of the “DRAMA” in her music and she’s in control of her own narrative. She’s always been subliminal but now I really hope she’s not holding back.
