i typically choose kassia if i want a lot of emotion in a piece but if im actually LEARNING that piece ill go to rousseau’s channel because he has normal fingering and in my opinion more robotic and less emotion which i WANT when im learning the piece. After that i go to kassia’s channel to get more emotion in the piece but Traum plays much harder pieces with speed and correct rhythm which in my opinion, makes him better than both, all though he could add a little more emtion
@@m.moonsie I have referred to Rousseau's videos to learn a couple things in the past, and once I learned the piece I would become disgusted by his performances, and lack of expression, or even dynamics. Especially for Chopin. It actually annoys me how his vids have the most views on every song. Kassia is much better and basically the same thing. Sometimes I hate youtube algorithm lol.
Every now and then, I get short episodes of intense sadness. Seeing the notification for this video once it got uploaded just made me smile during one of those episodes.
I don't comment often, but your playing always comes to me in times where I need to escape and breathe and it does just that. Thank you for being a great pianist in times like these. Can't wait for you to hit 50k :-)
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing Chopin’s pieces, Traum. ❤️ I love Chopin, if you would ever make the time to do Nocturn No. 19 E minor one day, I would be grateful and over the moon to hear you play and how you play it because it’s my favorite piano piece ever. Thank you again for your uploads Traum ❤️
One of my favourites played by one of my favourites ! Traum , your constant conveyor belt of pieces is just breath taking. It's not just the quantity , it's the quality ! And congratulations ! By tonight you will have burst through the 50K barrier.
Traum, I just wanted to say thank you for this video. I've rewatched it so many times, and it is by far my favourite version of Tristesse. The quality of the video is amazing, in addition, your playing is so full of emotions. Thank you sir.
i remember this piece as a background at one of the episodes on the walking dead, the feelssssss. i just think its cool that they used pieces like this as a background, especially it’s modern day already. Anyways, nice playing Traumm!
Incredible how you've managed to incorporate modern day "noise" into Chopin's piece in a way. I wonder what Chopin would've said about modern music and "noise". Superb playing, truly nice.
Nice and passionate work, I would like to request rage over a lost penny by Beethoven. Btw I’m from Thailand but I would guess that’s California judging from the palm trees

This piece was also nicknamed “Sadness”, but not by Chopin, by his critics. Thank you for playing this, it’s beautiful ❤️
Love the new intro btw 😊
That's literally what tristesse means
Tristesse means "Sadness" in french
In spanish has the same meaning; "Tristeza".
The new intro is fascinating!
Hmm Chopin is French you can tell because françois has c cedille and the song is called tristesse which is the literally sadness in English. BIG OOF
Sadness in major key...
