Hi David!! I agree with you about putting up zipboard. It will help protect all the hard work you’ve put into the tiny house. So I’m not sure I remember correctly but didn’t you talk about putting a room in between the cabin and the tiny house and connect the two with a hallway or something like that lol?? It would be nice for when you had a lot of family or friends over. I always liked that idea. Stay safe and be careful up there by yourself. 💜
I agree on the zip board. You built the tiny house in a hurry and really was under a time crunch at the time. Now you can make it like you want it. Matching both buildings would look super good. You might even add to your collection of buildings with all having the same siding.
Hi David, I think if you build animal shelters, that siding would look awesome. I think the cabin & tiny house looking the same or alike is always nice. Love seeing all the animals, you can see that they are well cared for. Love that. Have an awesome week coming up, hope ya can get the things done ya want too!
I like your idea of doing both buildings with the first saw cut from the logs, I think it would look a whole lot better on the tiny home and I would also think that it may be quite cost effective. Good luck no matter how it is done.
Good job on the tiny house. Going to be really nice. ❤ Yes you might as well use zip board on the tiny house. Could you raise the 2 old satellites to 7' so you can have the coup taller? Use cedar post to hold them up, use for roosting area? ❤
We raised McSko i cant spell it 😂, We had 5 hens w 1 male. Pete, holy crap if all 5 didnt sit on more than 25 each born that year. Ya crazy my in laws made blood soup. We also baked them w prunes yes i know but oh was it so good. Smoked several up too. We didnt pen them up, had a huge pond, but we feed them. ❤
I have a cabin myself, it was a kit made in the 70's and I had it stained barn red. I did some log replacement and i have a bit more to do. You don't want water splashing off the roof onto the lower sides of the structure. i have cinder block 3 ft. up the foundation so the logs stay dry. I like the rough cut lumber siding but I would oil it or stain it or it will get dryed up and crurve up.
Howdy David. The animals all look so good and healthy. Hopefully everything will start drying up soon. Can't wait to see the new addition on the tiny house. The zip board will probably be a good idea on keeping the tiny house all good and dried in. Making the sidings match will actually look good and tie it all together. Just a thought. Good luck.
Des said she is coming again next week. I saw your start on the tiny house today. Looking good! I think if the cabin and tiny house match, it would be very attractive, and bring balance to the buildings.
Yes get the zip board and it’ll make it much better with heating and cooling and longevity of the building. You can use the siding for all sorts of stuff around the mountain!!
Your going to be real busy👍. I agree the Zip board is the way to go. Good luck. Looking forward to following along with you. Have a great week. Take care✌️🇺🇸
Hi David, Domino is so adorable. All the animals are so cute. Love seeing Eclipse and the goats love the new intro with Eclipse in the snow. The mountain will be so pretty seeing Mt. Magazine in the background. Good idea about the zip board. And the siding would work. Have a great day and God Bless C'mon ❤
Great forward thinking David. I agree to buttoning up the guest house with zip board and logs to match the cabin. You've put so much time and money into it so preserving it for the long haul is the way to go so you don't have to circle back to repairs later and you can get other projects done. Texas Deb ❤️
Hey there David, I have been a long time subscriber on my tv. I haven't figured out how to comment on that, so I subscribed on my phone to give you a name for the baby buck. Lunch money is my suggestion though I'm sure your getting many good ones from others.
The are the man with the plan .love watching all the progress your making. Very interesting content. You are doing a excellent job,on all the ideas you are creating.Take care 🙂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍catch you on the next one. Take care have a good one.b♥️🙂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great ideas !!! Here in Canada our wood siding is suffering because of the strength of sun.. now it’s all chemicals you have to use to cover your wood for protection from the sun 🤦🏼♀️
Muscovy ducks. I raised them for many years. Average 16 to 18 eggs per bird that they will sit on. Most will hatch. And yes they are called the best tasting domestic duck out there. Watch out. My ducks had three batches of ducklings per year. I was over run very fast. Good luck!
I love your idea of matching the cabins, it will look so good. David, I would love to see you interact with eclipse more,🐕🦺 I miss that, you most likely alreading do that without the camera on you. looking forward to all the new changes you are going to do.♥love your channels.
High wind last year blew my Harbor Freight car tent across the yard, and the record snow a few days ago here in Mobile collapsed it on my car. So I'm building a 4x4 and 2x4 one with some Galvalume Tuff Rib metal roofing...THEN see what happens!
Yes I would do what you said, I never thought you burning that wood was a good idea for as lasting a long time with all the rain, it would have looked better to me not being burnt
If your going to be working on it anyway I think it would be wise to get the zip board installed. best to get it done right the first time and not have to think about it again.
Yes I agree zip board would be wise. Protect the inside Of the cute tiny house. 😊
I agree, zipboard and matchin sidin👍👍
Great idea with matching the buildings.
I think the plan to zip board and log face the tiny house so it matches the cabin will be amazing.
They make vinyl siding that makes a house look like a log cabin finish. Don't forget gutters also.
I would definitely use the zip board cause it will last longer.looking good.

Frosty almost looks like a sheep more than a goat. She is adorable!
Yes zip board for sure. Looking good!! 🇨🇦
You should let the goats and eclipse wander around a eclipse looked so happy to see you
It's looking good👍🏾👌🏾😎 Domino is super cute as usual❤❤

😂😂😂"I'm talking excuse me"😂😂
Love the idea taking siding off matching it with the tiny house nice seeing all the animals
I like the zip board idea. So excited to go on this new adventure with you. Come On Mountain is going to be a real showplace!
Zip board would be great. The other siding could be used with other buildings
Hi David, I think if you build animal shelters, that siding would look awesome. I think the cabin & tiny house looking the same or alike is always nice. 5:17 call him junior
Thesiding on the tiny house makes it beautiful and unique
Call him razor back.
You could host some stock tractor pulls out at your property
David I totally agree with you 😊 Well now you got me curious what you are getting from Sam and Flint? Can't wait ❤️🇨🇦
Either pigs or Highland Cows. 5 or 6 weeks are probably some of Olivia's babies. That'll be awesome.
@lleet21t56 that's what I was thinking!!
I like your idea of doing both buildings with the first saw cut from the logs, I think it would look a whole lot better on the tiny home and I would also think that it may be quite cost effective. Good luck no matter how it is done.

Zip board would be best. 😊
David I like ideal with zip boards doing same sliding. On both
I like your thoughts of log siding
Great idea. You might want to use screws where yuo already have sheetrock hung to keep from cracking or nail pops from a hammer or nail gun
We raised McSko i cant spell it 😂, We had 5 hens w 1 male. Pete, holy crap if all 5 didnt sit on more than 25 each born that year. Ya crazy my in laws made blood soup. Zip board would be wise. You have a good thought process. Another chicken coop is a good idea.
Great idea to put up zip board and building enclosures out of that siding. A mini log cabin will look sharp.
Muscovy duck is really good. To me it tastes very much like beef.
Wow david getting more food on mts meat wise.alot your doing this year
🙋♀️ Hi David and Domino!! 🦋💕
Agreed with zip board!
Can’t wait to see the new transformation it’s gonna be epic❤❤❤❤

Yep. Zipboard and siding. And the burnt siding for the coop, the rabbits, the goats and the ?sheep? (Wild guess.)
Your going to be real busy👍. I agree the Zip board is the way to go. Good luck. Looking forward to following along with you. Have a great week. Take care✌️🇺🇸
Excited!! Great idea w both to match
Good morning ❤❤... Using zip board, and the same log siding will look amazing! Hey idea making them match! 👍❤️❤️
I like the idea of putting up the zip board and eventually the same siding as the big cabin
Yes to zipboard.
I agree with the zip siding, would help protect the building from future damage and seal it up better.
Do you have any spools and plank boards so the goats have something to climb up on????
Hi David, Domino is so adorable. All the animals are so cute. Love seeing Eclipse and the goats love the new intro with Eclipse in the snow. The mountain will be so pretty seeing Mt. Looking good. Very excited to see what and how you are doing things. Stay safe and warm.❤❤❤
Have you put your plan on paper? It might help to draw it out and see what you like and don’t like.
Hey there David, I have been a long time subscriber on my tv. I haven't figured out how to comment on that, so I subscribed on my phone to give you a name for the baby buck. Lunch money is my suggestion though I'm sure your getting many good ones from others.

Yes, zip boards on both houses will make it look good on the property.
like the idea of the 2 houses matching. The other wood will be used elsewhere.

Sounds like you'll need a lot of logs. Maybe a good thing that the fire didn't want to start on NYE.
Don't know why, but Mack comes to mind when a see the male goat.
