It's 'indie' / 'Art-pop' / Some 'alt-pop' (due to stylistic use of these 'stoned' vocals), for sure.
It's hard to consider it 'Trip hop', but one might do so, because of the unique, atmospheric sound.
The same kind of vibe you get from 'Gorillaz - Starshine', a slightly detuned guitar and lots of reverb (here primarily applied only to the synth). Both played in 4/4, souffle vocals. This one just doesn't have the psychedelic feeling to it, and "Starshine" has lots of syncopation.
