Failure will always be one of the greatest rock bands to ever exist imo. All their albums since they got back together have been incredible and if the upcoming album is as good as this song, this might be their best record since reuniting.
Yes!! Have loved them for 20 years now!! Got to see them twice in Chicago, IL in 2015 and 2016 (seriously...one of the best sounding live bands that I've ever heard!).
2:22 - 3:00 one of the most psychedelic musical moments I've heard. I'm new to failure and to see this is one of their new tracks is encouraging.. love it when a good band stays true to themselves after so long
@@cactus-mcjacktus My point is his comment makes no sense. He's new to failure and has no knowledge of their past work, but because he likes this song he says it means they stayed true to themselves (by which he meant they sound the same as they always did, when in fact they don't).
@@whothennow24 compared to green day and marilyn and so many others, Failure seems to be the only one who sounds like they always have, melodic yet exolosive and relatively tune the same as they did. Only differences are just studio quality and new audio snippets/experimental bars. So yes they honestly have stayed true considering all the changes the other bands have gone through. Glass half full bud
Staying true to yourself doesn't mean you keep the same sound.. I'm not sure why you are extrapolating this from what I said. When a musician/s stays true to themselves, they continue with genuine exploration of music instead of just settling on what "works". This does not mean they need to sound the same as their most respected work. It just means that they are dynamic and continue investigating sound..
I feel blessed. Blessed to have been a Failure fan in the old days, and blessed that they still resonate and create and exist in modern days. There’s a certain sort of magic and sonic sorcery that only Failure has, and I am so very grateful they continue to hone their craft.
Insects are fascinating but Failure's music is so good that they actually don't need to make a video...a blank screen is enough to make you 'see' their songs (or better yet, no screen at all).
@@dmitrynikolenko7637 Have you seen Dif Juz 'No Motion' music video from 1987? That's one of my favorite music videos...the song is absolutely brilliant also!! Highly recommended.
I still remember the first time I was introduced to Failure on 120 minutes and Chino from the Deftones told me about Fantastic Planet. Which I still listen to. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the tracks in this new album
I think I've listened to this song at least once every day since it first released. I catch myself humming parts of it and singing the chorus when walking around work. The song, it's quickly finding a place deep in my soul to call home.
I just discovered this mountain of talent yesterday. I haven't been able to get off UA-cam and all of the music they created. So impressed with their music. This is great!!!!
These guys are simply incredible. I listen to bands that are far more "complicated" but there is no mistaking the talent behind this music. It sounds like every last detail of their compositions are meticulously considered. There's not a bunch of filler, or showmanship-what's there is refined and intentional.
This is about the wildest video and music I have ever seen. When my son was about 5, we put a Preying mantis in a jar with a house fly. That insect (the preying mantis) demonstrated a methodical attack on the fly. It was in a way awful, but beautiful in a way. The PM took out the flys eyes at first and then the rest of it. Failure is a band that cuts to the core of life and in a way, death.
@@keithferreira3866 I think Swervedriver must have a pretty good following in New Orleans because it was the third time I saw them in about a 4-year span. The first show was after they released 'I wasn't born to lose you' then they came back after releasing 'Future Ruins'. The third time was when they opened for Failure.
Just discovered you guys, and man I’ve been missing out. This is the music that has been missing from my life. The inspiration I need to write new music myself too
Not sure what happened, instantly got chills running through my body around here 2:28 and then they increased... This is on my first listen on a crappy phone. Mind blown!
Ken andrews and every member of the band have been so consistent in their own efforts (autolux, a perfect circle etc), but when they all come together as Failure, they just deliver Everytime. And this new album is a treat!
Sunlight through the dust Someone to make you understand But you can ask a rust I've always been your headstand And I know it's been too long And I want you back again One more time in the warm jets One more time in electric light I'll get my toaster, you get your shaker Your simulation's 'bout to meet its maker And I know it's been too long It goes so slow when you can't see And now I know just what you meant But the whole world sets you back from me And I know it's been too long And I want you back again
Ken and the boys came out swinging on this bad boy!!!🤘👍awesome!!!I've been listening to Snail mails new album "Valentine" until I saw you'll had a new one dropped...thanks for the great tunes, Christmas came a little early.

I have told folks over and over, this is the best album ever, since Dark Side of The Moon (Fantastic Planet)
Their sound is still so pure, unique and Beautiful.
"Your favorite's band favorite band"
I haven’t been this excited for an album in forever 🖤 Failure is so special

This band deserves so much more...
Yeah...You'd think Tool and Deftones fans would all come together and love this band. But seems like Failure fans are a small portion of those fans.

Yay! I get to transcend again!!! Want another song... NOW!!!!!!!
Thunderously apocalyptic. One of the greatest Failure songs ever! This track kinda sums up everything about this band.
Yes! 2024 tour maybe!!!
So excited for new music!
most underrated band of all time.
I can't express in words how much I love this band and how excited I am for this new music. Brilliant as ever!

I agree. However, if you want to feel the strangeness or tension, as in the films of David Lynch or similar, this video fits perfectly. 💪🏻

the darkest melodies
hit the hardest
No one does heavy shoegaze like Failure
Hum, Inlet is a must listen !!!!
God that power chord progression sounds so good.
Ominously. An addictive thriller. 👍
Creepy and haunting…I can’t wait for the new album!
No-one does chilled and horribly unsettling simultaneously like Failure :)
Thank you once again Failure for coming back and making new music after the hiatus! Three records in what six years now? Outstanding Gentlemen.
I dig music with this malevolent kind of swagger
Ooh that Failure bass tone! Nothing like it.

EVERYDAY!!!!
Especially LOUD on amazing speakers! CHILLS every single time.
the rhythm section is seismic here....ty for the great music again...it really is a treat to have all of this so many years later
This song is so epic that when I saw it live it felt as though the stage was gonna emerge from the ground and take off like a ship.
Ahhh yes, new FAILURE songs are back! I needed it today. Guess we could call this a Saturday Savior. Beautifully done. Video, Song, Mix. 🤘
Zorak is the star of the show! Mantis song is fantastic, too. 😏
I'm so happy I found this band, you guys are awesome!
I feel really fortunate as a long time Failure fan to be listening/watching new Failure in 2022.Good shit.

Perfect! I can't understand how you make it, but you always blow my mind!
This video is just the perfect fit.
Your photo has an awesome backstory (mysterious interference with Chicago television signals 30 years ago). Still a mystery!!
I love the cosmic horror vibe this video was F'd up.
Keep it coming.

Oh man is this song just SICK!!!
Hauntingly bittersweet dissonance floating above massive, crushing chords. You can't deny Failure are pioneers of an explicitly unique sound. Absolutely wonderful.
You tube actually does something right thank you for bringing this to my attention
I listen tot his song every day , its quite perfect
why is this on repeat the last 3 hours?
because it's that good.
impressive what these guys are capable of.
Failure at it again. Still rocking after 25 years.
Love how this videography shows how much alien our own planet looks up close
Saw Failure a few years back with Swervedriver opening for them. Blew me away.
Shout out to Swervedriver
Swervedriver missed the Phoenix leg of the tour. Instead we got some lame local Americana band
