Thank you for taking the time to comment. I have a lots more video I need edit so I can post. Stay tune for more.
You will have no regrets. I bought a TYM 264, predecessor to the T25, just about a year ago. It is a Little Beast. Just be mindful of what your are doing with it. Everything has its limitations. Take your time and enjoy the therapy.
Must of been torture to hurry up & Waite for your rig. Back in the old days "pre-covid' got me a Kubogy MX5200 tlb ordered up , built, financed & delivered in 20 days!!! Donald, thank you for the comment. You’re so right about covid and the delays. It will be nice to get back to normal again. You have purchased some nice tractors. I’m glad your back has gotten some rest. 😊 I can’t imagine doing some of the work I’m doing if I didn’t have a tractor.
I was impressed with RK tractors....but closest dealer was almost 4 hours away....was really impressed with the LS....same problem....no dealer close to me. Wound up with a Kubota B2601. Got a decent price. No regrets.
Hi thank you for your info and all everybody else's comments they're very helpful. I would like to put something out there for the other perspective person. If you're wanting a compact loader tractor then the issue becomes how much can you lift with the loader and what size of a tractor that puts you into. I looked at John Deere and John Deere is very good and they have a wonderful service and dealer distribution so that's a very big positive. The negative is they are way expensive and I can't afford them when I compare them to something else. For retail sale and service John Deere is the way to go and Kubota likewise. With that big dealership overhead obviously comes the cost. Yes this is a tym tractor but get this don't be fooled there is a downside of getting a Rural King tractor. That is you will be buying your parts and things to Rural King even though they're a tym tractor. Tym doesn't officially recognize the Rural King tractor. As long as you do your own work and service and get your parts to Rural King you'll be fine. The downside is this what happens if Rural King decides to drop this line of tractors and use somebody else? So those of us who have an RK we have decided to take a chance that that will not happen anytime soon and we have a track that it is well built and it's got a good track history from the company that builds it. But it is with some risk. Any of you guys if you have a tym dealer call them up and see if they will get parts for you for your tractor I think most of them would like to say no. So I'm willing to risk that I'm willing to believe with their 8-year warranty that they probably won't have that many problems especially if you take it easy on the tractor. That's just my two cents also remember that Rural King wants you to buy all the oils and materials from them to maintain your warranty which I don't think is too excessive because they'll give you a fairly good deal on it. If you do your own maintenance you need to keep your bills and show where you bought them materials from Rural King. Other than that I might say this for people who are not tractor owners. These are diesels and don't rev the crap out of them! And yet they are small diesel so yes don't go ahead and expect that you're going to do pulling in high gear. You must consider that this tractor this big giant hunk of metal is being pulled around by about 25 horsepower or the equivalent of your Zero Turn Mower probably. There are some cheaper tractors out there now from what I understand something by a company called Summit. Those are a great value but again you have to again see what there's going to be the most sold and I think that Rural King's program here is going to sell a lot of tractors and therefore they will be prevalent enough so that the resale will be pretty good. With John Deere and Kubota you can pretty much count on selling it for as much or more than what you paid for it. RK probably not but you shouldn't lose too much
I am also a newbie tractor owner. Bought the RK37H with backhoe, loader and 3rd function two months ago and already have 50 hours on it. Will do the 50 hour service myself in a few days. Overall very pleased with the compact beast. I was considering if I should post some video on UA-cam of the 50 hr service, my impressions and so on. There really isn't much on the RK37 other than the huge volume put out by Mike Morgan at Outdoors With The Morgans UA-cam channel. But seeing how well you did on your first try, I may just do it. Good luck with the RK25. I have subscribed and will follow your adventure.
Thank you Michael. Congratulations on your tractor. I’m sure like me, you’re getting a lot of use out of your tractor. Please add UA-cam videos. Share your knowledge and help others learn. Thank you for subscribing! Much appreciate it!
You made a great choice. Although kubota also top of the line. I saw a video of a guy said he grew up driving and working on JD , now he has Kubota and doesn’t work on tractors and more.
Thank you for the comment. I know for me this was the best choice. I am really happy with this tractor. If I had more money I would have purchased something a little bigger and more power.
I just came across your video. I thought to mention that you have put together a great video. Your editing and narration skills are quite well, good job. I have owned and operated many makes and models of tractors here on my farm for 40 years now. Having said that, I know little to nothing about your tractor or the manufacture. Rual King does not operate in my area. In my opion, the questions you asked during your research were spot on. Anyone new to tractors wishing purchasing one should follow your lead. Every point that you brought up I still consider when I'm looking to purchase. Your reasoning and decision on the ZTR is one that many would not thought of. No need for a belly mower when you have a ZTR. I hope your purchase is everything you hoped it would be. Looking forward to follow you on your adventure.
Wow! Your comment is really kind. Thank you. I have videoed a lot more about the tractor, but finding time to edit them has been a challenge. We love are tractor and my wife loves her zero turn. I can’t imagine take the backhoe off every time we want to mow. Too much work. Thanks for following my videos and for the kind comments.
Congrats! Just got my RK21 with mid mower and front loader last week. I only have a half-acre in suburbia, but I always wanted a tractor. It's overkill, certainly. Took almost 4 weeks to get. Ordered R14 tires, but came with R4's. Salesman said "These are the ones you want anyway." Nope. I'm going to have RK swap them out. Tractor had several small design flaws that I fixed. Nothing serious. Overall a nice machine. We'll see how it goes.
With what comes as standard equipment on an RK series tractor as compared to JD and other big names they are hard to beat. I own an RK37 and a JD 3043D. Loaded tires were a 600.00 option along with a 43.00 option for a radiator screen . There is NO bucket level indicator. Welcome to JD. It took 6 months to get the JD . No they did not give a discount because of the wait time. I understand I am lucky enough to own both. Which one sees the most use ? The RK ! The JD will be going up for sale.
Welcome to the RK family. I am glad you finally got the comments turned on. Initially I wanted to comment but couldn’t. Anyway I too have a RK25 and started a channel for our hobby farm. There is a video that may provide you with some info. Would like to chat with you too.

I thought I was listening to myself... I've just gone through mostly the same story. Looked at New Holland, Kubota, Mahindra and Yanmar. Now I'm the proud owner of a TYM T25. Was also going to get the mid mower but the dealer said a rear finish mower would be better and much easier to take on and off. Nice job on your video.

This or the RK37 was possibly the tractor I was waiting to buy when it came out, but my almost new, used Massey became available just before it instead. Still happy with it though.

Hey... BIG THANK YOU for the layaway + Harvest Card idea. 5% of the price as cash back is not insignificant... that's almost 2 implements :) Fantastic idea, especially if telecheck arbitrarily denies your ability to just write a check for it (happened to me even though i had the funds). That idea kept me from going straight to the bank for a cash withdraw..
@@letslearntogether4361 Hahaha. The waiting is killing me. I cant sleep anymore cause i keep laying there thinking about all the things i'll be able to do. Heck of a step-up from lawn tractors. Yeah, I'm gonna love it :)
Ooooh no they are not almost the same price..... im getting a TYM T394 cab which is the same thing as a RK 39 ..and it's about 8000.00 dollars difference
@@jaykraft9031 Not sure what the difference is, but I priced from local RK store, and by the time you added in the extras that the Kubota came with the price difference was not that much.
Which models of JDs are China made Dave? Not the 10, 20 or 30 series which would be the RKs direct competitors. They are made in Georgia. Most of the parts are USA or Mexican sourced. Of course the engine is Japanese

I agree! I remember all the manual work I use to do. With a tractor the work is much easier.
Did you get the RK tractor loan, then just paid off the tractor loan using the RK credit card in 3.5 weeks to get the 5% back?
You’re welcome! I agree with you. It is a great way to save and use the money towards an implement. I hope you enjoy the tractor as much as I do.
@@letslearntogether4361 Hahaha. The waiting is killing me. I cant sleep anymore cause i keep laying there thinking about all the things i'll be able to do. Heck of a step-up from lawn tractors. Yeah, I'm gonna love it :)
Great video. Congrats on your purchase. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Question... Is your tractor a hydroshift transmission?
Yes, there is a pedal for forward and one for reverse.
That's too much runaround. They should have cut their price. Unacceptable.
Cutting the price would have been welcomed.
What does it cost
I don’t remember the exact price now. I think it was in one of my videos. However, arak have the price on their website. No hidden cost.
These Rk tractors are almost as expensive as Kubota's. I opted to pay a couple thousand more for Kubota.
That was not my experience when I was searching. But you should get whatever tractor you are comfortable with paying for. Kubota is a good brand.
@@jamesjenkins3384 what Kubota did you buy?

Unfortunately the 5% is now 2%....
Oh really! I’m sorry. That’s unfortunate. Time to find a credit card with a category with 5%. Good luck.
You are just like me.
Thanks for watching.
TYM build's the rk tractor and alot of other tractor companys use TYM tractors and make them there's.
Yes, that is what Rural King has done. Other tractor companies do the same thing like LS, Kioti.
@@letslearntogether4361 TYM is also building Branson and Bad Boys
That trailer is way to big
It was all I had. It wasn’t mine. I got a friend to help me get my tractor.
Lots of Chinese John Deere's out there now. Way overpriced.
Are you saying that China are making John Deere now?
Which models of JDs are China made Dave? Not the 10, 20 or 30 series which would be the RKs direct competitors. They are made in Georgia. Most of the parts are USA or Mexican sourced. Of course the engine is Japanese
the rural kings used to be Chinese. think they may still be.
Won't be long and you will be posting about all the issues your having with it, Guaranteed . Lessons people have to learn the hard way.
No issues yet. Just loving having a nice tractor.
