I thought the grooves in the decking were supposed to be placed on the down side to allow water to drain and also airflow to reduce rotting. Please enlighten me. Thanks

Jeff paint the lot with ronseal fence paint it's 16 euros in Dublin but the decking paint is 70 euros I done it and it does the same job lovely
I prefer the oil myself glen. I used the fence paint once without good results 😂😂😂😂

There are grooves on either side of the decking also. This is the correct way i can assure you. Hope that helps
