Mike, you are the Willy Wonka of gardening!! I thought this project was perfect but adding that cozy corner with all the beautiful chartreuse color and that stunning wisteria branch has taken it to another level. The wreath around the door, the lanterns , the fence and that adorable wheel barrow. I am excited to see how this area will evolve over the summer. Thank you for always bringing magic and whimsy in all your videos and sparking our imaginations as well.
This section of the garden is incredibly enchanting. Your imagination is so beautiful. Feels like childhood dreaming, off to a mystical imaginary place. Yet you seem to be able to make it reality. 🧚 🏰 ☀️ 🌈 🥰
I wanted to say the area, this particular area kind of reminds me of the forest where the dwarfs lived in the movie 'Snow White And The Huntsman ' I think it is very cool to use your imagination. At 72 I use my imagination and my creativity more than ever. Great fun garden🌴🌺🥰
When I limbed up my lilac bushes to look more like trees, I kept the branches and twigs and placed them into a tall ornate plastic container in between my lilacs. It was statuesque and offered a lovely focal point to a little garden. So I love the wisteria branch idea as a natural statue.
Mama is always right, Mr Moxie. That building front is adorable. What a beautiful creative space. Gardening is never complete it always changes and evolves. Good on you for not rushing through a project I always say enjoy the process. You are right on in designing destinations in your garden. See you next time have a blessed day.
Hi Mike still pulling my jaw off the floor "where's Frodo?"you created a story in this area It gives a forest feel little solor lights would look perfect in the laterns. Those round pots i thought were like older rustic and when you pulled them up i was like wow😂Every detail brought this scene together beautifully the wreath adds depth to the door it draws you in.Always artistic with your design your garden really deserves to be in a magazine! Have a good day to you and Jesse 🕊️💚🇺🇲
The little fence could possibly use a couple of woven sapling in and out of the posts,i think its called wattle. Also perhaps a back plate off your door knob.Keep it up!Looks amazing
If a woman has a husband that gets into gardening, she's a lucky woman 😊❤ This is a lovely garden and yes, it is like a little fairytale land. My neighbor has added such beautiful lights all around her garden. I drove by tonight and noticed all of the work she had done. It is so beautiful at night!! It literally looks like fairy land!! ❤
Hi Mike, just wanted to tell you how much you inspire me to make my garden into something more. Your newest creation with the planters etc., that area is worthy of having a display at one of those flower shows . It is outstanding!!!! Thank you for sharing your "how to" information.
I put solar twinkle lights all bunched into my red lantern at Christmas. Works great. You probably could attach this ball of lights so that you wouldn’t even know your lantern is missing the glass. Very nice fun vignette. Very creative.
You absolutely amaze me! Each of your projects keeps getting better and better. I loved this video and was oohing and ahhing while you raised the three planter bowls and added the railroad ties in the back and the beautiful wood sculptures. The rocks and lanterns added so much too. Your yard is a magical haven that must be wonderful to spend time in. When you show the still shots of the finished projects, I can't believe just eight years ago it was just a boring backyard with grass and a few trees and now it looks like this.
You are my inspiration! It is beyond my imagination!!! You have found your true gift! I just can’t stop watching you create natural beauty! God has blessed you!
I swear reality is jealous of your imagination, I know am. This absolutely my favorite garden channel. I follow you on IG as well and look to to you for inspiration. Creativity, inspiration and love.
I love the free-style approach, plop it down , wiggle it in , fill it up. You do plant very abundantly and you always have a finishing touch. The fence is fine but not necessary to the design.
From a first-time watcher, and long-time gardener/horticulturist- it's a lovely design. I really enjoy the lovely color palette and the draw of the "rooms". If you want a low-risk veggie to try, throw in some lettuce seed before and after your sweet potato season. They can take the filtered light, make beautiful, edible foliage plants you can munch on, gift to friends, and are easy for chop and drop composting.
You are an ARTIST ! A Gifted Artist!!! If I lived next to your garden you would see me peaking over the fence day and night. My dear God, your garden is to die for.
If l only had a smidgeon of your creativity!! I can't tell you how much l love this. Such an amazing surprise to come around a bend and see the color, the texture, the fantasy... you, sir, are a true wizard in the garden !!!
Love, love, love this! You just have so many fun and whimsical nuances. You have a wonderful and artistic imagination. Thanks for inspiring the rest of us.
Not a fan of the fence but the rest is magical, gorgeous & so creative. You always amaze me with your creations , they’re like none other, just amazing. Wonderful job
Lollygagging is what my family says for strolling somewhere. Even with pruners in hand😊. I ❤ what you've created and of course I've watched all the way to the end!! Also, old ivy branches can be very gnarly😮 and twisted! I have a few to use near my pond. Looking forward to the next 'room'.
Oh my gosh! You did it again! I absolutely love everything! Just amazes me! I love the little fence! I really want the dome planters! Fabulous as always!!🌳♥️🌺🌸
The grapevine wreath reminds me of a heart we created for our wedding. We kept that heart for like twenty something years as a house decoration before finally letting it go. Been married now for 32 years. I wish I would have thought to use it in the garden! What creativity u have!
I've been watching your videos from the start. Love the growth of both the garden and your channel. Love the creativity. I garden as well, and I also add whimsical touches to my garden. Love this new addition that you came up with. It reminds me of one of my favorite books, The Secret Garden. I also love that your wìfe supports your creativity. Adorable!
Very cool! Your updates added the concept of an older, more mature garden. I love the ladder addition (maybe add one or two rusty paint cans with a colorful tall plant and maybe some vining ivy cascading down the rungs from the can)…. This corner would be very cool at night with so many lighting possibilities. A couple thoughts, the obvious is light the lanterns with simulated flame bulbs. Maybe a soft spot light on the sun. String of lights across the tops of the fence posts. Small ferry type lights weaved through the dead tree trunk in the center planter…. It’s amazing how the creative part of the brain gets stimulated with so many ideas in such a small space (one corner) of a garden. Thank you for sharing one of your gardens corners..
This adds such excitement and enchantment to your garden. It definitely makes you want to explore around the next bend. I so enjoy waiting and watching to see what you’ll come up with next. Definitely getting ideas to add items in our garden🌻🌻
Oh I just love what you have done. The wreath around the door finishes it off. Perfect! 👍🏽 The plants and fence.. 🎉 A garden magazine needs to show your work to the world.
You constantly amaze me! I watch you begin a new project with skepticism and then quickly get on board and want to do similar in my own space. You are such an inspiration!
Oh my word Mike, there are no words! You’re such an artist in the garden! This looks like a botanical garden that I would’ve had to spend a fortune to visit. Your gardens are just awesome!
Why is it some people can make a garden look magical yet mine looks like I just stuck plants and decor around randomly !! Mine never looks lovely even though I try and research plants and accessories. You my man are very talented
What’s next? DISNEY WORLD? Do you want a blue ribbon or a trophy? My kind of Gardner. Nothing too much for the garden. Life began in the garden. A blessed family.
Just stumbled on your channel and really love how you approached this like a mixed media collage playing with levels, found materials and texture. Very different, really charming and visually rich, yet peaceful. Thanks for sharing! 💕
This little corner is gorgeous. I love it so much and love watching your creativity as you bring a corner to life. Keep doing more projects and thank you for letting us view your many talents.
Your garden addition turned out beautiful! So creative with all the different elements you used, to create the different elevations. Love the fence pickets.
Love the piece of "Hobbitton" in your back yard. My yard is small so I make whimsical faux gardens in miniature in baskets, pieces of wood...whatever. It's fun for me, makes me happy!

I love this!!!
Actually, Fly Fox Fruits is the Willy Wonka of gardening
@@TheDiversifiedFarmer guess there are two Willy Wonkas then! Maybe they could visit each others gardens!! 🌟
👍
My jaw dropped when you put that large "branch" in the pot. So beautiful.
Mine too!! He’s on another level for sure!❤
This is something I would expect to see in a garden show. Well done!
You are a true artist - you seem to just look at something we all look at but see something more! You romance the ordinary in the best way!
This section of the garden is incredibly enchanting.
Your imagination is so beautiful.
Feels like childhood dreaming, off to a mystical imaginary place. Yet you seem to be able to make it reality. 🧚 🏰 ☀️ 🌈 🥰
Brilliant! I've smiled from start to finish watching the magician at work!!! Just wow! There is no other garden channel like yours. Love it all!!!
Just when I think it can’t get any better you go and freaking knock it out of the park once again!!! 💥💥💥
Absolutely brilliant. All of it! This space is magazine worthy. Love when you get creative.
It looks like a hobbit village. Very lush and whimsical.

🌱 Gorgeous! The grapevine wreath around the sun was just the right touch. Love the little fence & all of the rustic elements! 😮👍💯

I love the opening created by the rail road ties. It adds depth to be able to see through to where the waterfall will be.

Love how you go into your backyard on your time off from work and create a literal masterpiece. Well done, friend.
This is the most magical garden on UA-cam!!
I love the free-style approach, plop it down , wiggle it in , fill it up. You do plant very abundantly and you always have a finishing touch. The fence is fine but not necessary to the design.

It’s all just amazing!!!! Love the lil pockets as well as the fact you have to hunt around in the garden to find that spot…..awesome!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Love your work and passion.
How about a little hobbit mailbox and mount little lanterns on the railroad tie posts so it looks like a home entrance.
Not a fan of the fence but the rest is magical, gorgeous & so creative. You always amaze me with your creations , they’re like none other, just amazing. Wonderful job

I am just mind blown with your amazing ideas on reworking the area creating mini berms. It is just awesome.
The grapevine wreath reminds me of a heart we created for our wedding. We kept that heart for like twenty something years as a house decoration before finally letting it go. Been married now for 32 years. I wish I would have thought to use it in the garden! What creativity u have!
This is really wonderful. My favorite bit is the old fence in front of the house. Such great ideas.

Reminds me of viewing a piece of art. It will mean something to each individual who has the pleasure of seeing it!
