If sony is concerned with it's players they should just say, "No crossplay if you don't sign in." I would be more than OK with that. Any other reason to have people sign up for accounts that no one wants after they bought the game is just smoke. Why make it a requirement for all the new single player games? I see you are playing God of War Ragnarok. We (Sony) need to protect you from not receiving advertisements.
I DO NOT recommend buying games that require a PSN login. Obviously multiplayer games with crossplay are a different story and logins make sense there. Sony thinks it will push people to buying into the PlayStation ecosystem but that won't work on PC gamers.
