Optimus is a solid US brawler commander tbh.
@@andrewjohnson5365 for sure. But if you want him… you can’t just buy him. You either have to buy the package with every single commander in it (and some of them scream of “meh”) or you pray to RNGsus in a crate.

After this and the transformers reruns. I lost hope for the azur lane collab rerun being good. as they will probably do the same and bundle the commanders and ships together so that you can’t buy em individually . Meaning I will probably and simply save up for wave 6 of azur lane. Then I can simply snag a shipgirl with huge milkers for 5K

I know PC is offering the entire Azure Lane commander set in a bundle for $199.00. I’m guessing a similar bundle will be offered in Legends as well. I’m wanting this set more than the Warhammer or Transformers. More versatile and can be used as primary Commanders, not just inspirations.
Arthas on American BBs x AL NJ is the best damage build in the game. Especially when u get up to having 6 planes. You literally cannot use 6 spotter planes in 15 minutes anyways. 1 Ohio Citadel with +15% citadel damage, +5% over 10 km, +10% drillbits, +20% Arthas, on a Citadel that already does like 17K? Love him on AL Sov Rossiya too, with her citadel damage perk
If you’re including “fun factor” I like him a lot. But I’m also the near extinct wild Carnot player because it’s fun and different

So I’m new to WoWL as of Jan. So this and Transformers are my first chance at getting these collab Commanders and ships. Since I didn’t know anything about them, other than hearing Arthas the Cold mentioned as inspirations on other vids, I went with 8xChaos container bundle and got TWO Arthas the Colds, leaving me with a personal Commendation and no ship. I then went for a 8xImperium containers and got Lyons, but no ship. I’ll quit while ahead I guess, or maybe worth one more shot with the 8x Eternal War crate bundle?
Everything getting very expensive. The Transformer packages are equally insane.

Happy with the two Commanders I got and thank you for the video and your perspectives on each ship and Commander. Very helpful to learn from. I’m trying to resist the collector urge in me to just outright buy these bundles just to have them and figure out their place later as I gain experience.
I got very lucky wanted smart and in 10 chests I got Riegelwald smart and both ships :D

Ship Smasha's greatest strength is its short range guns, I wish there was a perk to make it shorter range. If you don't understand this we can't be WOWL friends... It is tier for tier the best gunboat in the game, there isn't a tier 6 DD gunboat that gets close to it... I have >750 games in it with 76% win rate, half of those played solo. But thank you for putting people off buying it, the fewer people that have it the better 🙂

Hey Derka....I had totally fir got I had arthus the cold...I recently put him on all my BB and cruisers as captain or inspiration.. ever since...I land salvos of 25k up to my highest of 63k in one salvo. He is only level 16 n 1 legend... I wish there was to get extra of him in crates or just outright buy with gold or even global XP....he is the best...
Derka you should try Arthas on the Italian cruisers mainly brindisi and Venezia its so strong with the SAP shells! I run AL Zara with Arthas and Mimbelli as inspirations for some insane SAP shell damage.

Ragnarok is a great brawler in a tier 5/6 lobby, I like to run a full brawler build. Tier Seven brawler BBs can out brawl it though, which makes sense. I use AL Bismarck and William Simms as inspirations, Secondary's go Brrr and it is crazy how much damage you can take. I have also dished out crazy damage in a single salvo. If any one is curious, My mods are Secondary Mod. 2, Prop Mod. 2, and Concealment Mod. 1. I only have Arthas at level 11 and Legendary rank one, 93,004 is my max damage, in a standard match so far. Is the Cross of Dorn worth it if I want another Premium Cruiser and Riegerwald?

Ship smasha is A tier
The reduced range of the guns means low detection while firing and after so thats actually pretty good - came across this while playing it for a bit
It makes you disappear as soon as the enemy ship your fighting up close is dead
Very unique playstyle - hunting down dds up close and personal, lots of torps for that purpose as well and then he farming while you can
It’s very niche, very unique but makes it so much fun

This. There isn't a tier 6 DD gunboat that can even get close to defeating it. Its short range guns are are great strength. It is in a tier of its own above A tier. I have over 750 games in it with 76% win rate, half of those solo. I would cry if they nerfed it by increasing it's gun range to 10km, it would break my heart.

What's your opinion on using Riegerwald with Graf Spee with AP penetration boost options maxed? Could it achieve a decent citadel chance against battleships but with a faster firing speed than BB guns can normally put out?
Hmm I'm sure he's solid on Graf, never tested it. Could be worth testing. Unsure what the 283 pen would get up to
I really wanted Augustin, so I first tried my luck and bought 8 crates for 5,400 doubloons because I didn't need a ship, but with no luck, decided to buy the bundle for 14.5k doubloons I'm using him as the main commander on a German cruiser and the inspiration for the Plymouth and some U.S. heavy cruisers.

No, I was going to refer people to Tommy's vid. Not enough views to be worth it, and I find basically all of the commanders to not be worth the money. Rumble is decent as an inspo for gun boats but that's it. Pass on all of em

Reigerwald is the strongest DE cruiser commander, period. The only Warhammer commander at Azur Lane levels of pay to win. And Ship Smasha is absolutely trash. Jarvis is awful as a base line. They tried leaning into the ram gimmick but it’s too slow and not stealthy enough to even do that. I love IJN BBs but specifically hate the Nagato. The slight Nagato damage buffs still don’t fix its horrible accuracy.
Yeah people try to make their case for smasha...in fact WG told me ot Performa in the Top 3rd of all T6 DDs 🤣 Smasha is garbage
Ragnarok is accurate if your at eight to 14 Km. from your target. I have Nagato and Ragnarok, Ragnarok is a much better ship because of the HP buff, with the damage buff, plus surgical shells post buff leads to Cruiser's not getting over penned with AP. Ragnarok is my favorite tier six BB right now. Nagato is terrible because it lacks the HP to make a good brawler and it does have horrible accuracy, I struggle to get a good game in Nagato.
Oland worth getting with the 70% off coupon?
Oland is a fairly good ship at tier, but it’s on sale already. I guess with your 70% you can get it for a near giveaway. The T7 ships are a great deal if you can afford to spend the money there, otherwise each persons wants and budget will dictate a better deal. I’ve enjoyed the Oland so far and not a DD player. Others will give you a better understanding of the ship’s performance..
I liked Oland a lot when I played her. Pan euro style (no smoke, good AA, Good guns, low alpha Torps). I may have an old review vid of her?
I don't tend to give WG much money, so that's why I was asking about Oland, since using the coupon makes it so cheap. I bought it. I'm terrible at above Ostergotland, but they're fun. So far, the guns could be better. And on more torpedo per rack, oh well

@@DerkaGames I swear there used to be a skill that lowered damage done to you by ramming by 20% but increased damage to the opponent by 40%…. Or I’m crazy.
