This game made me sad as a Giants fan. Not because we lost this game, but seeing Tim Lincecum getting hurt and leaving really makes my heart sink. I love that guy and he was doing good in this game. It look like he was getting back to his classic form. Then he gets hurt and that was it. This felt like the last time would see Tim Lincecum in good form. He had a solid 2015 season, but never the same dominant pitcher he was in 2007-2010.
There was no way he wasnt ever going to get hurt unfortunately. His delivery to add velocity to compensate for his stature is what ruined him. His hips just couldnt handle that much stress and as you turn 30 your body breaks down faster.
