As a Raps fan, I kind of understand what the front office wants to do. Similar to the Demar/Kyle days, they want to build a competitive roster while continuing to stock up and develop through the draft but the way this roster is constructed, we’re just going to continue to be in no man’s land. The fact we’re struggling to even get a play-in spot is just embarrassing. We need a reset and it’s time the front office bites the bullet and start truly building around Scottie.
Raptors are known for retooling. We jus need to Keep Scottie, OG, and Gradey and maybe Trent. We need spacing around Scottie and another young piece that fits with him, that has potential to get better
Masai skills as a GM were overstated and their ring was pretty much good timing aka luck, they won a weak East by the skin of their teeth, and beat a hobbled warriors team that was dominant years prior when healthy, so unless they plan on getting flat out lucky, and snagging another HOF somehow as well have a perfect opening in the East, which is a tough conference, their strategy ain’t gonna work.

Yea the nets are not going to blow it up, unless is a robbery, we aren't going to make any large trades. We'd rather be mediocre and try to just collect some positive assets along the way and continue to keep a competitive core. And also, its a cultural thing, the Nets have somewhat regained the 2018-19 vibes, we have a ton of unselfish quality role players. While we may never compete for a like a top 3 seed with our current core, continuity is important in building a team players want to play for.
