Thank you for an exceptional course. It renewed my life with old planes in a very new light. I must look the other courses up. I really like your way and I admire your craftmanship.
    Cheers, JohnnyH-Denmark.

I love watching all your videos , I have a few of my grandfathers tools also and they are special to me too. His tools live on and work even after he’s gone

Thanks Brian! If you haven’t seen it, here’s a short video I did where I told a little more of the story of my grandfather and that plane Tool cabinet stories

It’s so good to have tools with that kind of history and life to them. Thanks for watching! 👍😎

I heard that it's called a frog because it resembles the part of a horses hoof called a frog.

Found this this morning; wife just came downstairs and REMINDED me, that if I wanted to get ANYTHING done this morning, STOP WATCHING YOUR VIDEO(with my morning coffee,) and get out to do chores before it starts raining....So I'm obeying orders and will watch this after lunch....Looks good though...cheers...rr Normandy, Fra.

Ahh, yess ... the 1 hour + presentation sprinkled with on-topic questions and then the 20+ minute question period when you realize there's a downside to having insatiable, highly inquisitive students.

I didn't see a SCRUB plane in your presentation.
Any thoughts on scrub planes or a better method to deal with warp?
    Cheers,

I did mention and describe the aggressive and efficient nature of scrub planes in regard to rough flattening quickly….toward the early part of the video. And I mentioned I do not own an official scrub plane but I do have a plane for which I ground a heavy camber on the iron to simulate and be used as a scrub plane when I need one.
      Thanks for watching! 👍😎

It's called a frog because it sits the same way a frog does.

That actually sounds like it might have some validity…are you kidding around or did you learn that for a fact somewhere? 🤔 Thanks for watching! 👍

@@EpicWoodworking Not sure where I picked that up (more than two days ago means it's outside my short term memory). But I can tell you that I only take notice of reputable sources (Rob Cosman, Alan Peters - Charles Hayward books, Epic Woodworking, etc).
