The Axwell Wallet is a minimalist, RFID blocking wallet with a money clip and cash strap. Made from aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, brass, copper, and more. Whereas the Ridge Wallet is an expanding minimalist wallet that protects your cards and cash. Made from Aluminum, Titanium, or Carbon Fiber.
BOTH with LIFETIME WARRANTIES. WHICH SHOULD YOU BUY?
Hey thanks for this video man. I was just looking at these two wallets and was curious how they compare. Perfect timing.
Glad you found the video helpful my friend ! Big fan of the axwell over the ridge for sure.
@@Joshua88Graham Definitely leaning towards the Axwell. I like the larger thumb cutout and all metal body.
@@Joshua88Graham Have you considered reviewing Ekster, Fantom, Secrid, Aviator. Fantom has all the accessoires ( cash coins, apple air tag ) but is very bulky. Ekster is super nice but missing acessories such as coin. Secrid is super nice, so is aviator but they wont do accessories
@@jm7720 I’ve actually reviewed all of those wallets on my my Channel yes (: Big fan of Secrid
Ridge style wallets have their strengths and weaknesses one of their strengths is that they are the smallest wallets that you can get but their weaknesses is that they are a bit cumbersome to use and it's best if you put no more than 6 cards in them just like most pop up wallets to make them easier and quicker to use and with the best models like ridge or rossm you can choose between money clip or strap based on personal choice
All very good points! The one thing I like about Axwell is that they give you both the cash band and clip, so you have that option. But like you said, whatever you pick - if you add more than 6 cards it becomes cumbersome fanning out so many cards. Appreciate your comment my friend and thanks for stopping by.
Absolutely love my ridge wallets and ridge keychain worth every penny
My Ridge wallet has the inner black flames made of aluminum 100%. I have the black titanium version btw.
Good review. I have had a few wallets of these types. What I find in them all is the cards get scratched. My debit card is so scratched from the other cards rubbing together. I had to place paper between my cards to prevent damage. But overall I like the types of wallets compared to traditional wallets.
I agree. Over time the cards do tend to scuff up and scratch with the constant rubbing. I find the card holders that fan cards out it happens slower. But still…it’s the price we pay to avoid the traditional wallet ha. Thanks for sharing and commenting John !
That's the biggest problem with these thin ones.
i almost went with axwell, but i didn't like that it didnt have a bottom elastic band. Honestly, i dont mind the ridge price since it has a lifetime warranty. I will literally have it the rest of my life :)
I believe that the plastic interior used on the ridge helps prevent the wear of the cards inside your wallet.
Josh what is your wallet then?
My favourite wallet thus far out of all I’ve reviewed is Secrid. It has versatility, aesthetic, functionality and quality all wrapped into one. Again its not the cheapest, but I think it ticks all the boxes to make it worth the value.
Get to the point in your video! You talk about bs too much and too long!! In the beginning of your video!!
Ridge way too expensive for what you get. No value and not worth the money. It does what it’s supposed to but ridiculous cost
