My dad was an phd in math. He teached me to play chess back in 1980s. I played some real life tournaments. Played draw against Carlsen in 1999. He was 8 year old back than. Lucky me. Played many other tournaments in Norway during years. Still going to play more chess tournaments. Just play chess tournaments if you can afford it. Have fun while you doing it. Be good in school and work and relationship with people. Chess just a game. Life more important.
Chess taught me a lot about life. Seeing through the obvious and looking for someone's true motives. Patience and control. The balance between defending and attacking. And most importantly, timing. Timing is everything in life. Everything else equal timing can make or break you.
Hello. It is me, an 800 Elo, 10 minute. I was once a 500 Elo 10 minute. I learned this opening from Alex Banzea on youtube alongside the Caro. This opening is quite nice and accidentally taught me some okay concepts to use.
Jobava works best if and only if you get a very very early kingside pawnstorm going. You keep well ahead in tempo that way, and are able use that lead in tempo to balance the "shakiness" of the Jobava.
7:40 "Classic L shape formation from the great game of Tetris. We're not rolling here but we have this classic formation … we keep pushing these pawns, Black's in a lot of trouble here and it's all a total disaster." 8:10 "Galaga is greater than Tetris? I have played all those games quite a bit. I mean, honestly I'm not very good at Tetris so I would have to agree with you. Galaga, of course … let's get back to chess, I don't know why I started talking about Galaga
In the London i always push my c pawn to the centre in the hopes he takes and split his pawns in the centre. After that i take with bishop and put my knight in the centre
@@Bob-hz6fp can u read? never said i was good at chess buddy. im just saying no one at my rating plays that well and hes 600-700 elo lower. hes either severely underrated on a new account, cheating, or sniping
Dude, please stop making video and focus on the candidates. You need a lot of concentration to exceed Caruana or Ian. I am a little bit hesitant to mention Prag!
Opponent: finally i got him, he is thinking
Hikaru: look at this pyramid of giza with the pharaoh inside. Oh you say its a dorito? Anyway
I thought London was a place
…….Named after a chess opening
It is
💀💀
london can be many things
London is a different planet full of strange beings taking pictures of their own faces. It’s a place very far away from our planet

Yeeaah right
34:40 . Shit got real. Hikaru went into cat mode with the staring eyes. Hunter at work yall.
Finally something we can learn I hope you do more of this videos... And thank you for this video

That second guy was a very interesting 900 rated player. Kept it completely even with Hikaru Nakamura until he got into time trouble...
**kramnik entered the chat**
Let’s do the procedure
Thank you for the upload. Love this new content. These arenas where you play preset openings are a really cool idea.
Botez gambit 🤣

This is more on my level than his usual videos so I feel like I’m finally understanding some of it
Low elo chess player here, at 13:30 my favorite move is pawn to A3 then when queen takes on b2, Na4 trapping the queen. So rook & pawn for queen
I do that too, got that from hans niemann
@@axhraf7712 I do it as well. I learned from Igor on Chess Acamedy. It's so amazing how many variations a game can go. I love chess!!!
That Kramnik take was really on point.
There's a queen trap at 13:30, pawn to 3A, if Queen takes B2, Knight to A4
Pyramid formation with the pharaoh inside was great.
Second game looked really good for someone < 1000.

26:27 I think he LITERALLY does not care
13:30 a3 poisons the b2 pawn and wins the queen if takes
jobava london is an amazing opening
OMG the family fork checkmate to funny 😆
the dude is best chess streamer for free lessons!
10:00 ah yes. the classic bathtub formation.
Ahh yes
Jo baba don gone
How does he play preset positions ? That would be awesome if i could do the same
you do it with a club
@@EnigmaChess ow, I am in none, thanks for the info
The bathtub and the pyramid with the pharaoh. How does Hikaru get all these names for these pawn structures?😂
Fun fact: No one has ever gone blind from a botched lasik. Not one single person, ever.
I thought I could learn the Jobava London but Hikaru’s strength is too dank for me.
He’s like a sports commentator but while he’s playing the sport
Unstoppable voiceover 😊
Do you do your own thumbnails? They’re killer! If so, what design tools do you use?
The London system has a 100% win rate in world championship games.
Coz it has never been played before lol
In the London i always push my c pawn to the centre in the hopes he takes and split his pawns in the centre. After that i take with bishop and put my knight in the centre
Now in this position there are multiple ways to take this knight here.
I think what I'm gonna do is to actually not take this knight.
Today I learned the pyramid with the pharaoh in chess.
Hikaru makes chess look not only easy but as Art 🖼️
What’s the playlist??
The only thing I ever learned from these videos is that Hikaru is the better player!
I feel like if Magnus is Michael Jordan and Gary Kasparov and Fischer are like LeBron and Kobe, then Hikaru is like a Steph Curry.
Just a killer.
thanks
jobava is the best opening on a chess board
1000's can learn how to take take take and then get mated... 😢
L shape pawn here from the great game of Tettris... Bro's joke is so unexpected lols
Happy Holi❤
He said botez gambit aw man 😂
wow, thank you, after this video I almost becames as Hikaru Nakamura.
uh oh spaghettios is right. nice mate
This isn’t the jobava London that I know and love
Joemama London
2nd guy was def cheating, beginners don’t play like that
Only the beginners I play against*
Laced up in my Nike Air Jerusalems eating a Chicken McArabia.
You only can 100% chess when you have your own named move
i learn from everyday
either the 2nd guy was sniping or cheating because i dont even see 1500s play like that
Just because you're bad at chess doesn't mean others too.
@@Bob-hz6fpif he was good he would have a higher rating than 1000 most times.
@@Bob-hz6fp can u read? never said i was good at chess buddy. im just saying no one at my rating plays that well and hes 600-700 elo lower. hes either severely underrated on a new account, cheating, or sniping
Hes a somalian cheater named Abdul azeez, looked up hes other games. 100% cheating. Gonna get banned soon

Chat has a grip on you sometimes
If youre 1000 please dont play any form of London. You will find the game boring and repetitive and most likely quit.
What are you smoking?
Also, thank you for your part in taking out the Nazis.
As long as you play other openings it's cool
hikaru can i have $70
Come on man in my Joe Biden voice lol do t give out all are secrets lol
