Krayzie did a great job with this one, this song never got the attention that it deserved, I mean come on, Krayzie and Sade, 2 legends, it doesn't get better than that
I just watched something about this actually where she gave him footage from another video of hers and has something to do with her husband being a bone fan. I bought this album when it came out and back then we didn't really have digital music you know everything was still cassette and cds. And I remember I took a bus back from Seattle all the way to South station in Boston and the only fucking disk I had for that whole 4-day trip home was the disc from Thug mentality that had that song on it. Cuz you remember Thug mentality had two discs. I listen to that CD.. Jesus Christ I don't even know how many times.. the whole thing is over and over and over and over again for four days. Amazing song. Two amazing artists. 🙏
Sade never messes with rappers so this is another testament to the greatness of Krayzie Bone. She didn't just let him sample her song she included video footage as well. Two of the greatest Artists of all time creating an eternal classic.
@@realestudergroundsouNo . She gave clearance , and gave him the rights , and footage as well . Kray confirms it on his interview on drink champs. Her husband insisted her 2 release it.
Fun fact: Sade gave him videos of her from the original song as well as the clearing the sample because her and her husband at the time was a huge bone thugs fan… This is the only rap song still to this day Sade ever personally cleared
Krayzie Bone is one of the most underrated story tellers in rap history I think people get so caught up in the flow and fast paced lyrics that they miss the stories being told in his verses.... Thug Mentality has so many story telling songs but I hardly ever heard people bring up the story telling aspects
@@cathymazulo2551 Krayzie is the main creator of their music like he said. He usually comes up with the concepts of their songs & rights the hooks. Krayzie is definitely the best artist in Bone. Now lyrically, u could argue Bizzy is better & I wouldn't argue.

For some reason this song always has gotten to me. With his flow and rhythm, him and Sade made an underrated classic with this. Always has been my favorite of Bone Thugs which is one of my favorite groups ever, Gotta have all the respect in the world for this dude
Kendra Brevard for real. And the album was dope. It seemed like the powers that be turned on Bone at some point. Krayzie was a legit great solo artist.
@@DJFreshYourHighness Ruthless promoted them. Especially BTNHRESURRECTION. Tomica promoted the group efforts more than their solos at the time. I agree that it wasn't to the level of what Eazy would have done, but she did promote them. She gave them high quality music videos, marketing and everything. It was just at a lesser scale. Actually though, Bizzy spoke out against her. More than anyone else did. His whole first album was a diss to her.
everybody is after money and only money nowadays, you have everybody rappin no matter the skill or storytellin hip hop is dead Nas called it years ago everybody was in denial. One of the greatest artist of all time. No matter the genre. So versatile and unique it’s ridiculous this man doesn’t get more credit. But I guess that’s how the industry plays you when you won’t fold for their views. My man Kray and the rest of Bone chose to stay true to themselves!!
Out of all of the member of Bone.....Krayzie stood out to me. His whole style, period. On the song Down 4 my Thang........he let us know he was here for real🙏🏾💯
this song's the reason why i believe Krayzie is more than a rapper but a highly intellectual with well thought of rhymes that stay true to what is happening in the world. Just luv this duet. This song shows well how rap can sound smooth and poetic. Krayzie Bone has nice voice ; deep but not rapping aggressive. And NO cursing about women.
+UsernameJones agreed! and the thing is, the songs he made are in the same tone of the originals. i listened to "Feel No Pain" and "Hard Time Hustlin" back to back, the theme is the same.
Krayzie with this song he wrote from the mind, rapped from the heart, produced from the body(if dat made sense) and Sade sung from the soul! Krayzie Bone and Sade is hip hop and r&b 2 da fullest!

He said the label (Loud Records) fucked up the promotion for this album. Hella slept on!
I agree
Well said. Check out Krayzie Bone on the Drink Champs podcast if you’re a fan !

My favorite bone member with the most creative and trailblazing concepts.
Bizzy pretty damn good. IDK about Krayzie being the best ......

Krayzie Bone is the best vocalist of the group. I always enjoy his single albums. This song is one of his top bests.
anytime I listen to any single member of Bone, especially Krayzie, I think about the other four
Bro is a hell of an engineer producer too. Bro can make some good beats. People sleep on his beat making abilities.

Keith Fox bizzy is the best vocalist. I’m sorry you’re facts are wrong.
Keith Fox I think the best vocalist is bizzy but krazie is the best out of the group
