My take on hiv. The government talk so much about controlling it and ways to stop the spread yet why don't they provide the medication for those who have it for free it is so expensive iv heard to purchase if you don't have insurance if it's provided for free I think they can control alot better.hiv medication and doctor visit should be free or covered by the government best way to stop the stigma

Learning more about how the gut biome and how our immune system and overall health are related, I wonder if they will start offering more testing like what you had. I live in the United States and have great insurance but a stool sample from quest diagnostics is ridiculously expensive even with insurance. I know you have socialized medicine in Canada but can you comment on if you have to pay anything for your Stool sample labs? Thanks
I live in the U.S. and I didn’t have to pay anything extra aside from the copay. Current insurance is Kaiser

And I have pretty good PPO with Blue Shield of California but damn if it still isn't like $200 copay. I think I might find a different lab I want my doctor suggests and see what they charge

Exercise and diet do impact aging in HIV+ women but it begs the question around supports for such interventions such as insurance reimbursement for PT, free gym memberships, and increased funds for HEALTHY food via foidstamps, not pantries. Its like policies dont mesh with science either. A lot of this has been known for the past 20+ years 😏

I just read that the use of neti pots can cause a serious infection via the nose to the eyes and brain esp for people with immuno- compromised people. Have you heard anything about that?
I have not! Where do you hear that? I was using it daily for months after I was last sick; so helpful! I would imagine with general sanitary practices, for someone who is on effective treatment it shouldn’t be a problem

I ve seen News they have mentioned that Oxford University in London they are doing Clinical trials on HIV and Aids patient's almost they in success rate about 90% is this news is reliable. Kindly reply on this regards 😊

HIV interferes with that. Hence why PreP helps the body recover Epigenetic health.
Well, studies in how the Immune(?) System(IS) does that can help in many other aspects of health, including how to get rid of HIV itself for good.
Not to mention, the reason Semen is a risk factor for HIV transmission, is because it *recruits* the IS, which basically brings the Virus its victims.
And in light of that, can said semen and/or sperm also have a part to play there? Does it add it to the IS Resources to boost said epigenetic health?

You really need to get tested because if you actually have HIV and go an extended period of time without treatment, that increases the damage that the virus can do to your body, and increases your chances of experiencing painful sickness symptoms. If you are actually HIV Positive and get treatment (ART) immediately, that will be much better for keeping you healthy because the virus will not have a chance to totally destroy your immune system, which can lead to AIDS.
Please get tested and get treatment if you need it.
