i do really like your style. your hand ‘posture’, the steadiness and the confidence in your movements. i admire the skill and the mastery of this magnificent zen garden art. (i really do wonder how hard it is to do those beautiful shapes out in a house-sized garden though…) i’ve watched a few of your other videos and i think i learned a lesson. ‘patience is key.’ i feel like if i keep doing things, stay consistent and calm, i am getting ready to see the results and change my life. step by step. i just need to be patient with myself and keep going.
I watch your videos every night to calm my mind so I can sleep. I have a very stressful job, and your videos help me let go of that stress. Today was especially difficult, and I very much needed this. Thank you for this gift of helping me and others find peace 🙏
You can definitely expand your viewers if you listed this as ASMR and lowered the sound a tiny bit! Everything is so relaxing. The perfect geometric shapes are pleasing to the eyes. I can definitely see myself zoning out to your videos on a quiet night.
@@ppppppqqqppp I didn't really think of it from the business angle. Its from the perspective of "if this thing is beautiful, why not share it with more people?" But I can see your pov definitely.
The zen in this video had quite an effect on me. When you first erased the pretty pattern with the string on a rake, I was frustrated to see you destroy your creation. But when you did it much later on, I found it satisfying to see the pattern disappear. I felt a profound acceptance, like my mind was blank save for a wordless thought about how beauty is in the ephemeral. I'd best describe it as when the tide consumes sandcastles, the water is beautiful, as is the way the sand returns to being flat, a blank slate unblemished by yesterday.
I’m drunk and this has me entirely in love after only a minute. Got home from a party and put this on and I feel like I’m in a different physical realm
I love this stuff. It's such an interesting exercise in creativity. Always glad to see new ones, though I keep watching them back aswell, really great to keep my mind from getting distracted while I'm talking or listening to someone.
Interesting, it helps with avoiding distraction for you? I have ADHD and will find myself having to replay the same section of an audiobook, podcast, video, film, lecture, whatever half a dozen times just to be able to actually hear it and absorb it. Seems counter-intuitive that having 2 bits of media on at the same time could help focus, but also very potentially useful. Im going to have to give this a try. Thanks.
Because We can all use less noise, probably the best description I’ve read for somebody’s page, one of my favorite things to do is to simply sit outside with nature and just listen. Even if I’m in the city where I find somewhere, absolutely quiet and peaceful I will sit there for at least a good hour and listen/Be.,and oddly same goes with the eyes(for the Brain)
In the beginning, when he’s at the right side of the table, going UP. I couldn’t help but think, “ how big is this god damn table? “ because His whole hand & arm disappeared out of frame but we still heard raking for 3 more seconds, 😂
Yukikawae's other channel is a woodworking spot where they show you how to build the garden tools. And remember kiddies , it's hard to cut down a symmetry.

UA-cam told me I've watched this before but I have no recollection, so I'm happy I watched it again. Always such beautiful patterns 😊
Steady as a surgeon’s hands. So peaceful and beautiful, thank you 🌻

Perfect lines... I can't even do it with a ruler...
This is art..
The sand, the sound, the spirit, the soul. Start from zero. End with zero. It's life! It's zen. 感動しました!素敵なんです!ありがとうございます!
I love this, I was searching for "visual ASMR" a couple weeks back but never found EXACTLY what I was looking for. This, this is it.
Figure number two is absolutely magnificent in all its simplicity, 🙏🙏🙏

I don't think he will considering he's been posting for two years, but I agree. I wonder why he doesn't do that.

My guy he's just making shapes in the sand.
@@justinjoeltracyii My sand will have shapes.

Fucking, what?
Perfection. How the rake "wraps" around the stones @12:45 was particularly satisfying. Thank you for this!
FYI these warps are called involutes
These shapes are used as the profile of gears e.g in your car transmission

The three baller session that began at 12:05 is believable.
I love how when it goes above out of frame, the sound is almost like I can still see it moving off screen

The visuals ❤
the way the stick just gets magically longer
The way my brain immediately shut down
Me: fall asleep listening to the relaxing bell and rake
Me to me: instead of sleeping, stay awake and be mesmerized by the patterns instead
wow satisfying
that first tool? wrecked my mind. i was wondering how the hell it kept being bigger and bigger
С наступающим новым годом
asmr
Maybe your best yet!
Четко🤘
So does the tool at 6:42 work? It doesn't look like its touching the sand but it disturbs the pattern?
Look at the shadow of the tool as it enters the sand, it has a bar across the bottom.
Can I ask what material is under the sand? And can you try felt or a soft material?
What is the background sound called? the one that's constantly playing behind not the gong part
thanks
hi , im looking into making this a mindful practice of mine. where do you get your rakes from? pls correct me if there's another name

Am I the only one who sees a dinosaur head?
Is it possible to learn this power?
I'm pretty convinced that the guy that invented Zen Gardens was a kindred Creative OCD Person.
Or the opposite and found it helped people that struggle with anxiety and OCD. 👍🏻
simple local rules, complex emergent properties
I completely fucking lost it at 3:40. I could not believe that happened.

Probably because to the cardioid shape that you also get as the "main body" of the Mandelbrot set.
