The hell happened to Brad? He was my favourite for that, given that even Ken had never won a game against him. He said it had all been recorded over just two days and he had some bad buzzer timing, but still, he got crushed.
I love this interview a lot & the message sent sent out by Ken... “IT’S NOT WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED TODAY & THROW IT AWAY TOMORROW”, “IT’S WHAT YOU’VE TODAY & CARRY IT ON FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. (Not exactly what he said but you get the point.)
Yeah unlike most students do for their exams, beat the score and then don't remember sh*t two weeks later.
I’m going with James Holzhauer! He won nearly $2.5 Million in less than 2 months!
lol, technically it was less than a month because they tape 2 or 3 episodes a day and change their wardrobe. It must be so trippy watching them when they air, spread out daily as opposed to actually being in the studio during tapings. You can tell by the end of the week that James looked visibly tired from all the long days.
Oh but the winner was Ken
Out of the 3 gentlemen, only Ken was chosen to be interim host of #Jeopardy for the remainder of Season 37.
Of course because the other 2 are too busy with The Chase. Also I wish we had a US version of Beat The Chasers.

I remember the summer of 04 when Ken Jennings had his streak, I was going to be a sophomore in HS. It was really exciting. But I remember, since the episodes are taped months in advance, it somehow leaked out that he lost, before that episode even aired, so that was kind of a bummer. But it was still fun.
Stephen R I remember that time too. I was only 7 years old at the time , and barely understood what was ever being said. Still i watched every episode just to see Ken win again and again
Brad will always be goat to me. I love me some Ken and I'm glad he won but it doesn't match what Brad did. Defending his title time after time like that. Incredible.

I loved this show and will continue to love this show. It's very sad and it sucks Alex Trebek passed away. WTF. 2020 is a really stupid and weird year. I don't know how many legendary icons we've lost this year alone. I'm tired of this gloomy and somber world. I don't know why kind-hearted people leave the Earth so soon while selfish narcissists don't have any health problems.

to be fair Brad has beaten Ken Twice, this is pretty much the first time Ken has beaten Brad (not counting the exhibition match against Watson where Ken got 2nd and Brad got 3rd)

Anyone can be on Jeopardy. The producers have been especially accommodating with things like that. There was even a blind contestant in the 90s who won $69,700 over his 5-game run and competed in multiple tournaments

Jeopardy is a great show--but it has a real chance variable, some would say "unfair", although since they all have the same chance of being helped/hurt, maybe that makes it OK. Last game, both Daily Doubles went to the guy who finished 3rd, he noticed the power of that, looking over at the other two and saying something about it. Then the issue of HOW MUCH money you have when you hit the daily double. And worst part, the absolute worst thing, IMO, is that if you have beat me six ways to Sunday, BUT have not more than doubled my score--say you have 29,000 and I have 15,000, then if I bet it all, I can win if you miss. So it all comes down to ONE question, if that ONE thing is something I know, and you don't, even though you beat me soundly during the game (again, 29K to 15K) you are out and I win. Jeopardy is a great game, of course, but pretty unfair too. At least they are playing several games, that helps level that out a bit.

Interesting theory, but I’m pretty sure it was just a joke.
I saw another interview where Brad said James is "like Watson," another slip maybe he takes it. He almost beat Jennings in round 1.
gibberconfirm, I doubt it’s a slip of the tongue, Brad’s not the first and probably won’t be the last to comment on James being similar to Watson. Even if it was a slip, he could have been referring to the practice games they had before the tournament or just watching James play.
@@gibberconfirm166 This competition's going to boil down to what betting strategy works best, especially with the more tougher questions. The all-in approach of Holzhauer or the more steadier approach to betting by Jennings and now Rutter (since he got killed on that Daily Double.)
@@carrie637 True. I'm surprised they're allowed to do interviews before the airing. Before, those NDA's from Jeopardy don't allow that in Tournaments but maybe they need them to build up the viewership.
We get very tired of just reading who a handful og viewers think is best. We the oeoole di nit want burton or theone that was executive in jeooardy ashost.
My last minute predictions for the Jeopardy GOAT tournament are:
Brad wins
James gets 2nd
Ken gets 3rd
I’m betting it will go James, Brad, then Ken.

You're talking out of your ass, but you had me fooled at first. I thought you had inside information and actually knew the final outcome, but as I was watching James struggle in game 3, I knew there was no way he was going to come back and win that game.
