Sorry, but Ken Jennings is the most decorated player of all time (74-time champion), the most skilled player of all time (GOAT champion), and the most iconic player of all time (Jeopardy fans' favorite champion by a 51-49 margin).
When you can poke each other like poking a beehive and can still go out together for beer and steak (or in this case, podcasts and trivia at the bar), it's greatness.
That's actually true of most Jeopardy contestants. Most people only see what's on the TV screen, so they don't realize that, despite the competitive nature of the game, most Jeopardy contestants in general get along pretty well with each other. I see stories all the time from contestants on the show defending other contestants who get shat on by the internet and just in general complementing them, even if they didn't perform too well. It's excellent camaraderie and something that I think adds to the fun of the show.
James has got to be without a doubt ken’s greatest opponent. Had he got that final jeopardy correct, he would’ve won that match putting him into a tie with ken with two wins a piece and forcing them to do at least one more match. Now would ken still have won or would James have taken him down? The world may never know
It definitely would've been more satisfying. An epic final duo between Ken and James to settle it all with 2-2-0 going in would've been awesome to see!
There was actually an interview about The Chase that had about the same setup with Ken and Brad actually dressing properly (in a suit) and then you have James who looks like he just woke up (hair and sweatshirt and all)
If you want to get technical. It was done as a joke wager but on Celebrity Rock n Roll Jeopardy Brad Garrett wagered 48,000 in his Final Jeopardy round despite only having $500 going into final. It's also the only time a player ended in the negative at the end of Final Jeopardy.
Cathe Harris I COULDN’T AGREE WITH YOU MORE! WATCHING HIM MAKES JEOPARDY SO MUCH MORE FUN AND EXCITING BECAUSE HE IS BOTH INTELLIGENT AND HIGH-RISK, WHICH IS VERY UNCOMMON IN JEOPARDY! ☺️
I disagree. I don’t like James. It’s not his style of play, it’s him. He seems so f*g smug. And Ken is more than 10 years older, and still able to keep up. Ken - to me - has more Knick knack knowledge than James. He knows little obscure things. James is smart & fast. Ken is both, plus more.
I spent this whole tournament confidently spitting out wrong answers. I was firing at maybe, *maybe* 35% accuracy throughout the whole thing. And that’s when I even had the wherewithal to guess. But then, this enormous final question came. Out of all commons Jeopardy categories, Shakespeare is my worst by a mile. And wouldn’t you know it, I got it right. I actually guessed correctly. When James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter did not. For one brief moment there, I actually felt great at this game.
Noice lol. I remember doing something like this before with a category I virtually knew nothing about. I felt so smug for about 30 seconds and then my brother asked what it meant... :( lmao
A lot of people don't know much about Jeopardy, but Brad actually defeated Ken in 3 tournaments, and this is the first tims Ken defeats him, beside the unofficial Watson tournament, when Ken had a tiny advantage. For some reason, this was BY FAR the weakest that we have ever seen Brad, as if he was a different person. I guess everybody can have some terrible couple of days. That's why it's still a matter of opinion, whether Ken is the greatest Jeopardy contestant.
Not only that, but he found a couple of them so early that they wouldn’t have earned him a lot of points even if he got them right. You have to find them and have enough money/points to really make them count.
A-rok I don’t know who my favorite of these three are but what I do know is that James Holzhauer will always be better than Emma I don’t like Emma and she doesn’t deserve to win a tournament
Wow 🥰. 🥰 Congratulations 🎊 Ken Jennings 💕 you 💛 did a very good ☺️ job 😄 from Jeopardy! Greatest of all time 💯 tournament 💯 special 💕 last one with Alex Trebek 😍 that ☺️ was definitely 💯 so 🔥 spectacular ✨️. ✨️ 🥰 💞 🥰 💞 🥰 💞 🥰 💞 🥰 💞 🥰 💞 🥰 💞 🥰 💞
@@OldSoulInIndiana Your comment proves that A) You never watched Ken's original run (or are simply only looking at the cash winnings and ignoring everything else that makes a Jeopardy player great), and B) You don't understand how game shows work. It is literally impossible to rig them.
James comes off a bit smug (going for the 'biggest losing bet'), Brad a bit gratuitous, and Ken...what is up with his face? He looks mad or dumb(founded). Possible Sore Winner? James is of course the most entertaining player of all time. Funny how more 'sports gamblers' are showing up. But the title of Most Interesting Player (MIP) has to go to Matt Almodio. Set the game on its head! And makes it hard to watch the, ah, simpler players.
James won $2.5 mill and is still using the earbuds that came with him iPhone 6. Love it.
$2.4 million.
This was a great tournament. The most raw skilled player vs the most iconic player vs the most decorated. That's my opinion anyway.

Is that greatness or pretty much every male friend group to ever exist?

Brads the one who has actually beaten Ken on multiple occasions
Brad would've won 3 straight
James looks like a college kid who just got out of bed and Ken and Brad are his dads trying to get him into a suit.
And after a while they just gave up and decided to let him wear a suit and tie but no undershirt

I believe that James is so natural & deserves to be the Champion of all Champions! He is a fountain of knowledge & a pleasure to watch!

Even though Ken is better than James , James will always be better than Emma no matter what James will not be forgotten but Emma will
I like Ken more than James but I like James way better than Emma

These 3 guys are the greatest. I m glad Alex got to witness this

Brad was on the wrong end of a lot of Daily Doubles.

James (The Gambler): Hey Brads Score Still On There xD
I hope Matt Amodio gets a chance against these guys some day.
That was a great tournament!!! The three contestants were great, yet Ken knew a lot to get to be one of the greatest ones!!!
0:55 Brad really needed that hug 🫂 after James murdered him right before. 😂
CONGRATULATIONS, Ken!
I am so obsessed with all three of these dudes
This is epic game for Ken Jennings, win the tournament
the man still got it!
Brad looks so handsome in his suit
What i learned in this tournament. Ken can beat James but Brad can beat Ken unless James is playing
We watch you on tv i didn't expect gor jeprerdy to have yt wow
Bet zero->Win a million 💰
I have never seen anybody lose 44,000 dollars in final before
I mean points
Is James shirtless?
No, he is wearing a white shirt, but it's hard to tell or see.
I feel like James just set a new record for biggest losing wager

What James didn’t get the correct response in final jeopardy?
Nope! It's sad!
@@OldSoulInIndiana can you say jealous?
Simple case of making a mistake. It happens to everyone that plays on jeopardy

Alex forever in our hearts always our inspiration R I P
Is James actually wearing a jacket?
Yes. Watch one of the other clips In this series. They talk about his sartorial skills and upgrade. 🤣
Brad wearing a shirt and tie
Ken wearing a shirt and no tie
James wearing a tie and no shirt
what happened to his brows?
