Please 🙏🏻 don’t let your cats outside my cat got snatched by a predator right from my front door porch 😢 and is gone forever . She was 11 years old & a wonderful cat ! Don’t let this happen to your cat , if they are outside get them in & keep them in.
I am heartbroken for your loss, and that is a good warning for people who live in countries that have predators large enough to be a danger to a cat. I would say that is also a warning for dog owners too, especially ones who have smaller sized dogs.
Thankfully I live in a country that does not have this problem, and almost all of my cats over the years have had no issue spending time outside -I had one that was only an indoor cat. The main danger in my country is major roads and heavy traffic, and that is what I would warn cat and dog owners about. So please also assess the roads where you live before letting your cat out to wander about.

My friends cat got in the bathroom garbage ate the floss
Over a few days the cat was extremely sick.
The floss was twisted in the cats intestine
It survived but the operation and vet bills were over 6 k

My #4 is the only one who really goes after toys, like the heavy ball you bat around in a circle (not the 4-level ones with hollow balls). Well, that *came* with a little springy "antenna" with foofy thing on the end. My little Holy Terror kept pulling out that antenna entirely. I kept putting it back in. He kept pulling it out. Now? I have *no* idea where it is, as I looked under furniture, etc., and even months later, haven't yet found it.
Sounds like your little one has a lot of personality 😄 Cats always seem to have a way of turning toys into their own little projects. I totally get the disappearing act I've had toys go missing for months too! Maybe one day you'll stumble upon it in the most unexpected place. Thanks for sharing your story! 🐾
@@TheCats_Life My gf got 2 catnip-infused plushy "mice" for them to chew on. Within a day, both were missing. I found one under the fridge, but not the other. It's a literal cat'n'mouse game whenever I re-find one. My other 3 can't get arsed about any toys whatsoever.
I even got 2 separate "robot-toys" that jiggle a little *screw-in* antenna with foofy thing on the end, and somehow, he manages to unscrew it and disappear with it.
Oh, and the round "flying saucer" with 4 holes that chirps and randomly pokes out a "bird"(?) from a hole. No one seems to bother with that anymore.
They'll play with the wrapping paper and boxes from those toys, more than the toys themselves.
I'm telling ya, I gotta hide my car-keys else they'd go joyriding around down when I'm sleeping, probably running through red-light cameras, too.

My wife and I have 2 cats we never let out side alone we have a kennel for them out side and harness and a pet stroller we lost a cat many years ago she got out of the house and got killed

Along with your precautions, you might also consider creating a safe outdoor enclosure or 'catio' where they can enjoy the outdoors without any risks. My problem is my cats are tooooo calm and independent we have lots toys and its like thay don't care ? Thay are not interested in any toys at all ?! I know odd... You can use wand toy and thay will walk away.... Thay love thier new aunty in cattery but anyway I'm trying to convince my work colleague with dog sitting/ walking business to take care of my cats when I'm way but still is a no 😂 my cats -> food -> sleep -> pets -> walk outside on a leash or catio -> repeat 😂😂

You can try a range of toys such as puzzle feeders that may draw their attention. Additionally, creating an interesting environment with places to climb and hide could be considered. In terms of when you are not around, consulting a cat care professional might provide some better ideas.
