Man! Some people go to college to learn aspects of the 3d printing and your adding all these things just to keep the project going! Your an amazing inspiration Mike!
It really is pretty impressive how far technology has come lately, and the price point for entry into this stuff is so much lower than just a couple years ago. Plus there's so many resources here to watch tutorials and what not. Thanks for following along!
Thanks man, this type of fabrication has really opened so many possibilities with this build, and should definitely help get it done. It does take quite a bit of time unfortunately, but as long as it gets done right we should be good.
I done a full mecanical restoration on a car only once... damn all the time that I was like, I'm there why not change that... and at the end it add up to the time and budget of that build
fusion 360! The best maker modeler out there for someone like myself that is already in the autodest ecosystem for work. Keep up the good work! :) I've used fusion 360 a fair bit, and the shroud you made is really good. You did a very good job on it,
Thanks! It really is so useful, and with no price barrier for makers it's such a great tool. I just got done designing some sheet metal plates to fill in some of the frame I just cut, and it took less than an hour. I would have been in the garage cutting cardboard, then tracing and cutting and grinding for a couple hours at least. Now just have to send the files to the cnc plasma and we're good to go. I appreciate the support too, Thanks!
Love this Mike!! Way more into this than most people will probably realize. Happy to see you back at it. My Rhonda project (K24 Powered Renny) is kind of at a stand still currently simply due to time and funds. Starting a new business that is the priority right now, so I'll get back to work on her once we get this thing off the ground. Keep on cranking my friend.
Man I was just thinking about your setup yesterday as I was dropping the engine (getting ready to weld up the firewall). It does suck that life just gets in the way of projects, but I'm sure when the time's right you'll get it knocked out no problem. Thanks for the support as always, and can't wait to see what you come up with. Also, good luck with the new venture!
Just letting you know, I'm glad you're back. This is such a cool project, and you are putting in some fantastic work. Whatever it was that took you out of the game, I hope it's all better now.
Thanks man, I really do appreciate it. It feels so good to be back working on something and making progress on this thing. I'm still not back 100%, I still get dizzy if I do too much, and have to take breaks a lot, but as long as I can still go I'm gonna keep at it.
Thanks man, I'm trying! Tools are probably my favorite thing (other than new project cars), they definitely help build the skillset to work on all my projects.
My wife convinced me to buy a Jeep renegade in 2016, I still have it, swapped a k20 boosted with z 6 speed with k20 trans bell housing adaptor. Now i gotta put a hemi
damn, you got somewhere I can check that out at? that sounds like a ton of fun. K swap sounds like the way to go though, since there isn't that much room in these things.
Man you just gotta get out there and go for it. I found that the motivation didn't really come until I started working on it and making progress, and now I'm full speed ahead again. It does suck when you lose motivation on a project, though.
Yeah, it's a Ryobi screw driver, and comes in pretty handy usually. It's USB rechargeable and holds a charge for a while. I used it to assemble a cnc router table with a couple hundred screws, and definitely saved my wrist.
ALSO! That plastic piece that cuts off your gauges tends to flex too high on my jeep renegade too. I hate it, it cuts off the bottom of my cluster (I have the larger in cluster display since I have the limited) I wanna hit it with a heat gun and bend it out of my way. x.x
I don't mind at all. I work in the Industrial Instrumentation (process measurement) field for perto-chemical refineries. Yeah tools can get a little pricey, but the 3D scanner is one of the cheapest on the market, and the X1-C is on a card (0%). I built my CNC plasma table from scratch, and that took a few years. I try to be as financially responsible as possible (ryobi and harbor freight), but I do love me some tools.
@@rogerwoodvlogs7428 Nah I'm not that smart lol (no degree). I deal with planning and scheduling the maintenance side of the work (calibrations and repairs), no longer on my tools which isn't that bad.
No offense brother. I've bin watched from episode 1 to this point and will continue to current time January 16 2023. Been watching and made several assumptions like no way can this guy be married he spends too much time outside happy and this guy has a well paying job with no degree cause you're a hustler man not afraid to jump right in head first. In my experience not many college degree types will take on tasks like this. They just don't do well at the risk of failure.... Keep crushing it sir I'm here from a UA-cam short the other day have been looking at doing a hemi avenger someday myself just to be wild as hell and stay busy.
The Renegade was FWD only, but I'm using the RWD drivetrain from the Dodge Charger. I'd love to make this thing AWD, but the front would be very difficult to make work since the suspension was relocated in relation to the engine.

Love the work you’re putting into this project. Absolutely stunning craftsmanship and attention to detail
hell yeah man, thanks! It's taking way more work than I though starting off, but it's been great learning new skills along the way.
Mike I don’t see how in the hell you don’t have your own show already. The creativity you have please the know how 🤯
This is mint! Love watching how much attention u give to every single detail! Keep going mate, we are all keen to se this piece of art running!

@@HEMIGADE no rushes at all, I hope to watch couple more videos, it’s satisfying and inspiring!
Dash looks killer! I like the way the trim rings a covered on the bottom corners looks great!
Hel yeah, Thanks! It did turn out pretty nice, I almost don't believe it's something I made lol.
Man, you are a serious mastermind. All props go to you! 🫡
Thanks! I'm really enjoying learning this new skillset and pushing my abilities a little further. Whatever it takes to get this thing done!
Excellent work. I am enjoying this build.
Thanks! Hopefully more progress coming soon.
Wow really nice ! All the details and stuff that you make, so it look almost from the factory is impresive
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I didn't realize just how much work (and time) would go into this project, but the process has been so much fun.

@joblo24 it really can get out of hand quick, and I try not to think about how much I've spent on it lol

Looking awesome....I love the updates...can't wait to see more
Thanks! I've spent the last couple days really really digging into this thing, so more updates coming soon.
Man ur master mind mi amigo. Steady progress, she is coming together.. positive vibes from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
I appreciate the encouragement! I worked all day on it and barely made any progress, but at least it's moving forward.
This will go into history books 🏆
Very impressive man. Can’t wait to see this one done. Very cool!
Thanks man, I've been working on it all day so we're getting closer.

Glad our favorite UA-cam build is making progress again. Good to see you man
Thanks man, I really appreciate that. It does feel great to be back working on this thing and making progress again.
You sir, are an inspiration. Thank you!
Thank you! Y'alls support has really kept me going on this build
Yeah, this is insanely impressive!
Thanks! I had a ton of fun making it.
craziest build ive seen man good 2 see it back up
Thanks man, it's great to be back making videos on this thing.
Looking great
Thanks!
This project is awesome
Thanks! Glad you like the build so far!
Another great episode! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

eres lo máximo, saludos desde Panamá.
Thank you, and thanks for the support from Panama!
You're good with those trim rings. Mike, so in the regular Renegade they renegade they get cut off too
Cool, I wasn't sure but if that's how it is, it's gonna stay. Thanks!
Go crazy
it's getting there!

Thanks! I'm actually welding up the firewall right now (taking a lunch break lol) so hopefully in the next couple days.
Can't wait for the episode ❤
Good
What was the green small straight drill driver you used? Is it a ryobi?
Yeah, it's a Ryobi screw driver, and comes in pretty handy usually. It's USB rechargeable and holds a charge for a while. I used it to assemble a cnc router table with a couple hundred screws, and definitely saved my wrist.
@HEMIGADE thanks just found it home depot exclusive and ordered it lol

When this is done you gotta get a hidden camera and go to a car meet or something and get peoples reactions.
Definitely lol, for sure taking it to the dealership too
My dudes life moto “go big or go home!”
yeah, it did get a little out of hand

I have so Many Questions 😂.. I have a Compass, I'm assuming you're not gonna use the stock transmission/ AWD system?. Your my new hero😂
The Renegade was FWD only, but I'm using the RWD drivetrain from the Dodge Charger. I'd love to make this thing AWD, but the front would be very difficult to make work since the suspension was relocated in relation to the engine.
