Hi John, I was completely flabbergasted this morning when I tuned in and you wished me a Happy birthday. My daughter Mo (Maureen) is a real sneaker, and I told her so. Thank you for the birthday wishes. Thanks also to your followers who wished me a happy birthday on this site. Yes, I watch every day and love your commentaries. I not only love seeing the horses and hearing the facts about the troopers, but it brings back memories of my days as a wife in the Irish Guards regiment. Not many American women can say that. Thanks again. I'll go back now and watch the rest of the video!🥰🤣

I noticed 3 phones guy moved out onto the pavement. The courtyard is MOD property I believe, the outside pavement is not. He thinks he is safe there! Maybe, maybe not, LOL.

@@HCRSupporter Thank you for your service and your answer Being an OAP i enjoy watching these videos as i know i wont be able to go to London to see it in person Johns channel is the only one that shows alot more than just the stupid tourist i have learnt so much from his videos such as gateman chitsman (sorry if not spelt correctly)and it has also encouraged me to do research into the regiments and i have learnt alot some i wish i hadnt such as why the farriers carry axes 😢however there is one thing i cant find an explanation for and that is why do the trumpters of both regiments have red plumes on their helmets i know why they ride white horses to enable them to stand out on the battle field but not the plumes.

I spoke to a couple of the police and more importantly I spoke with the Corporal of Horse and a trooper. On all occasions I said to them I follow “London City Walks” There was no negative comments from any of them. Thanks John for clarifying issues such as fake accounts and the like it helps those of us who are not heavily involved in social media understand the many ways things can be stirred up.
I asked some of those commenters simple respectful questions and got some okay answers but the repeated and deliberate avoidance of the fact that the UA-camr account featured in the Daily Mail did in fact benefit financially,even if not by getting a fee directly, makes me dubious as to the rest of it. It was repeatedly avoided. I did see the pattern with the woman posting -odd way to go about life.
I appreciate the fact that there, and here, you are willing to discuss and respond, which is something others are not doing. There are clearly those with agendas and it’s hard to be sure of who’s who. So much drama. I hope the troops aren’t actually feeling as uniformly unhappy as suggested but how could anyone know if it’s not said properly to those involved? I am proud of the troops and would forgo my viewing if they were, but going about it in the chat that way seems an odd way to do it, especially on their official channel.

@@HCRSupporter I am not sure voicing opinions, if guards are genuine, to me or anyone else in the comments is the way to go. Surely it should be done more officially? I have no influence. I am proud of the troops in these videos, I don’t look to identify them, and should this really be the case I would be behind a ban on streamers and UA-camrs there. But mixing comments in with those who are playing it nastily seems counterproductive if troopers are really wanting to get it across. Hard for those on here, and most watch because they feel it is respectful, would find i hard to tell. If I go to other channels are you all in the comments there?

I've watched your videos all this week and checked a couple of the other youtube channels and the majority of the Lifeguards have been lazy about monitoring the tourists and enforcing the new Rules - although I'm sure they've all been told of the rule changes ! a shame -
and yes, take the 'may' out of the new signs!! - 'may' is used to indicate 'possibility or probability', we used the difference often between it and 'shall' (indicates that something must happen, usually because of a rule or law), the almost 20 years I was in the legal profession -
