This was HILARIOUS!! I thought she was serious at first. I started yelling at the video...🤣🤣🤣 then i realized it was a joke. That would be cool though if you could interview her. Thanks for sharing. 😁😁
Dear Mr Clifford or Anyone who is willing to respond :) I am an A Level Student ( Currently doing A2) Who wants to pursue any Degree related to Economics. In brief, I have a great passion for economics and absolutely love the subject, its almost as if all concepts come naturally to me. I am actually performing well in it.(86% In AS Level) However, I am absolutely horrible at maths and Did Mathematics Core at IGCSE Level and not at all in A levels. And so my question is, in University will my bad maths make pursuing Economics impossible? Of-course the passion will make me put an effort into maths more , but would it be enough? Also, my teachers say it strongly revolves around maths. Is that really true? Is it really that much maths and will I be able to handle it? Thank you.
Did you get a passing grade in Maths at IGCSE? Does your university require Maths for you to take Economics courses? In my country, it's required to have passed Maths at IGCSE, at the very least, to be able to take Eco classes in further education. I've gone to a career guidance and the universities accepting students for Eco courses all require either Additional Maths in O Level/IGCSE or Maths (main/subsidiary) at A Level. Judging by this, I'll say that students wanting to do Eco courses will be at a greater advantage if they took Maths than those who didn't. We (those who are terrible at Maths and no Maths in A Level) will have to put in a much greater effort to learn Maths. I've looked around, and they say that pursuing higher degree (graduate) does require a high level of Maths. There will be a lot of Mathematical terms. I'll say that, if you're thinking of pursuing Economics, start studying Maths more. Mathematics for Economists might be a good way to start.
