Them stones is perfect "road building material". I picked up some 30+ ton from a local potatoe grower and It was just the thing to firm up muddy passages where I had dug down some piping under less than ideal conditions. If you want to overkill, get the backhoe and make some 30+ cm deep trenches, the width between them depends on the width of your trailers/tractors and your ability to follow a path 😃, fill them generously with them lovely stones and voila, much of your getting stuck activity is over. 👍
Phil there is a tool online which I saw like a heat gun which you can use for getting twine string and other stuff of off the picker, seen it been used on a straw chopper rotor before worked like a treat
If you have any plans to expand your yard or build a new shed, at least those stones will help cut down the costs on hardcore. I'm very impressed with your new stone picker. It does a good job of getting rid of a lot of plastic out of the field too and whilst removing that is a job you probably could do without, it's better out of the field than in. I'm also interested in seeing how that bio-film works. I'm hoping it will work well as the less plastic we use the better. As the stone picker demonstrates nicely.
The weather is better here today hopefully it will improve for Farmer 👨🌾 Phil and liv .Great video and you all work so so so hard so so good luck 🤞 .With all that you do we how is Betty and little ones.Good luck and peace to.☮️☮️☮️💯💯💯💯
Hi Liv Phil great vids as usual I just watched a Millenium Farmer vid it mentions a company that flies a drone over field takes pics of rocks that could do damage they send a pic grid to the farmer he can see where the offending rocks ara then you can drive out to field get them just before planting good idea or what be Lucky
Short draw to the pit, you are gonna get under pressure fast ;) Hope the crop is turning out well! And nice to see the John Deere 6310 again, seems like he is doing a good job :)
Goodman phil, another good video, great have help getting job done, stone picker seems be doing great job clearing them as not much plastic missed, keep videos coming
All them stones are very handy. They will do for making a good yard. Especially with the price a load of stones is now 🙈. Another great video. Keep up the good work.
Common enough here due to lack of heat. My in laws milk cows in PEI and plant about 120acres of corn. The heat makes so much difference to crop yield and size. I’ve saw it 12-14 feet high there. Different varieties here but never saw it close to that height.
Nice video my friend ❤♥❤❤✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳ A very creative idea ❤❤♥❤✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳✳ I look forward to seeing your designs. Congratulations on your journey forward🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Why don’t you check into something like a 25 foot Valentini vegetation and stone burier. No more plowing, rock picking or damage to your equipment from picking up rocks Hell one pass and done what you save in fuel and wear and tear on your tractors would pay for it See if you can demo one
The noise out of that 6290 is something else o man

Glad that Rory is working out for your needs. You guys are very busy and you going without sleep is not so good for your health.

Great video Phil. Having Rory will make a massive difference. Making progress. Nearly there will the planting
You could make a side tip smallish trailer with good wide wheels that you can hook up to back of stone picker and tip directly into it
Well done Phil, I bet father Phil is so very proud of you all.

Have you still got the samasz mowers I see the control box In the cab?
With Rory on the Job now there will be no stopping ya Phil 👍🏻🔜
Great video Phil it’s good to get it in that stone picker is some job a savage machine
So what's the nicer tractor to sit in the 6499 or the 7618 just curious to know
Great bit of work done Phil, fair play to you and the team
Can you keep us updated on how the maize progressses throughout the season and compare the uncovered and covered
Good man rory flat out lol. Great video as always. Lookin forward to seeing the results
Very Interesting machine and does a good job!
Just Another Great Video from Phil!
Are you not a little concerned with the compaction you are causing with the destoner? Mainly where you are travelling to tip.
It’s not ideal but then again neither is the stones causing the film to not stay on the ground. It’s a 6 of one 1/2 a dozen of the other situation
Mega effort by all - Great to get finished.
Great to see all the work being some...very interesting
Are you planing on bying the Zamaz mowers since you have the monitor still in the cab
Great vid Phil when you can get them those stones will make a great hard stand for machinery
Stone picker is a great machinery for you. Stone will be handy for making a yard.
Another good video best of luck with all the ongoing jobs ahead 👍👍👍
The stone picker does a grand job Phil 👍👍👀
Never seen corn planted with plastic in 65 years of growing corn . I think in Newfoundland and Camp Breton Nova Scotia some plastic used

The amount of net wrap on that stone picker makes you wonder how much plastic pollution is in the fields, never mind the oceans.
hey ther, so i am 15 years old and my dream job is to be a farmer and i am just wondering right... how can you tell if the stone picker is full?
Top class phil
Nice looking seedbed
If plastic is used instead of the biofilm how is it got rid of after?
You will soon be able to make some new farm roads and french drain some wet areas, with all that good stone.
That stone picker is a fine piece of machinery, you won't have to buy any stone for the foundations now
Great video, hard work but getting the results.
Nice to see a deere on your channel 😀
I don’t know much but I know that Rory is col AF 😎 Some man for a pair of shades and a high vis
Great video there's some pur out of the 6290
Good video farmer pill
Did Austin Rothwell used to sow your maize
You need to get a wider harrow
Would u ever consider buyin a valtra
Another great video Phil. It interests me seeing how people do stuff from different countries as I’m from the U.S.A
Hi Phil you're stone picker great job
That's a beautiful looking tractor you had in the yard 😂😂😂😂😂
That 6290 sounds as nice as a case cvx or Cs 150

You can't beat a 62, ya just can't. What's the story with the 6480 these days? Looks sad in the videos
Where is your power harrow
R u only growing 12 acres this yr
Yeah only 12 it’s just the way it worked out
mite be a good idea to hardface the tines. all the best
Ye need to get one of the power harrows going again id say phil.. As much as a pain in the hole they are, Only man for the clods..
You have enough stones to biuld some walls or a good stoning whichever you prefer 😅😊
A buisy 48 hours, all complete, well done.
👍
Would u ever consider buyin a valtra
Seen a field where 70% of the bio film disappeared in 5 days after sowing
See Father Phil is still on the 3075 he will be buying a 7726 shortly so he has a better tractor
Now that a beard 👌 lol
Well
🇨🇮🇨🇮🙏🙏👌👌👍👍

Roll the field it will break up the loops
6499 !!
Why are you putting plastic down with the Maize?
U could do with bro running about with a dump trailer
Where is bro
@@alancarroll8087 think he has the leaving cert coming up, but could be wrong
12 acres looks like 25 on camera😂
I think the plastic is made out of corner
That film is expensive stuff
Ffs Phil, do you look for hardship lol
