"No one needs the middle seat to recline..." Matt I am an old man, and even I know that after a couple of margaritas my wife might want to recline two seats side by side and damage the leather. My God man live a little.
I love the second door. The thought of dropping my old body out of a window in case of an emergency scares me. I like the dinette for eating and playing cards. We like facing each other.
Matt, first time I had to disagree with you. First thing is the couch is amazing to have three recliners is amazing and it’s a full length couch you can lay across it. You have cupholders and if you need a remote control storage you can put them in the cupholders or use that nice little cubby to the left of the couch. That also was a nice cubby to put throw blankets in. Also, you can always buy a small little armrest and stick it on top of the middle couch. As for favorites, I would say the couch, the kitchen, wonderful countertop space and the windows that look outside the camper side where the awning is. A good 70% of all Travel trailers do not have windows looking out that direction. That has amazing windows and allows tons of light in. I agree with Will, the awning controls as well as the water bay. My only two dislikes only out of that whole unit is; should be a king bed option and manual stabilizing jacks.
I really think this is an awesome layout. I like the pass through bathroom, due to no disturbing people sleeping walking through the RV to get to the back.
Not sure if I missed it, but what's the interior height? Also, when the slide is in, does it completely block off entrance to the bathroom/bedroom? Hence the need for a bedroom door?
I still really want to know--that logo is the same as alliance laundry systems that makes the speed queen and other washers & dryers. Is it the same company or is there any way to find out? And yes I believe it is a good company, it's just that "A" is the same so I am curious.
For us, the 3 dislikes are actually WHY we would buy it. Lol It always cracks me up how people are all different and we want different things. We need recliners and I like a place in the middle to leave an organizer. We like a walk through bathroom for the space, but also because we have very different sleep schedules. The walk through bathroom acts as a sound buffer when one of us is sleeping and the other is not. And I just love an old school dinette. 🤷🏼♀️ I can sit and work on a project or a laptop at the table while my partner works in the recliner.
Yep hubby and I bought wrong RV (couples rv) and found out that it was way to small and narrow for us and our 2 beagles. Bought it last year used it twice and traded it this year for a class A miramar.
Looks like they bench marked the GD 2500RL which i bought a year before the Delta was available. Like the larger rear dinette with pantry, rack and pinion slide (GD uses a schwintech in this application), the outdoor cook station and Azdell. Things i don't like are the fireplace, would rather have storage, the usless space between the cabinets above the dinning, the stable steps coming out of the bedroom. We have a regular aluminum step at the bedroom....much easier to deal with at potty stops.
I was just going to say that Alliance looks like it was started by former GD people that took GD models and tinkered with them. I have a Transcend Xplor 245 RL that is the Transcend version of that floorplan and it does have rack and pinion slides. Also has a tri-fold sofa where that one has the dinette and pantry. Would love the pantry but not enough to have the dinette instead of the sofa. Dinettes are not very accommodating for heavier people and the sleep space you get with them not as good as you get with the tri-fold. It's a stick n tin but we love it and we didn't pay $50,000 for it.
Great video once again, Matt. Question: how do you close the storage bays if anything is plugged in, or am I missing something? I like them being inside, but then you can't close the doors? Someone else above said the pantry should be moved so that the dinette has windows all around. I agree with that, but not sure where it would go. The sofa should have storage in the arms, like Will said, or even better, removable tray tables like airline seats. I would like to see more USB plug ins and also reading lights near seating areas like the dinette or sofa too. I do love the fact that there is an exhaust fan over the stovetop! Cooking on the stovetop really creates condensation in an RV (which you don't want) and these RVs rarely have exhaust fans to pull that condensation out. Sliding door on the shower is awesome! And the bed flips up so you can get to the storage without wrestling with a mattress. My final comment is an agreement with Matt: the auto levelling should be standard at the pricepoint. Overall, I love this RV and I hope that is going to be my upgrade from my current one!
Guys I totally agree by the couch not folding down in the center! I don't like dinettes so I would want a convertible couch where dinette is. Matt I can't believe they put that couch in their as much as you talk about the couch Grand design has with a fold down middle section
Dont think you mentioned that every water faucet has it own shutoff so in case of leaks you dont lose all the water in camper One im looking at has manual jacks. Stupid not to include them in 50,000 trailer
Feels like such an important point...as gar as picking the right rv....im bout to buy my first and am constantly rethinking it, then remind myself why I want that one❤
Change the dinette table to foldable legs so it’s movable. This is not a split bath it’s a pass thru bath…deal breaker. Extend the length of the trailer 2 ft and put in a walk beside bathroom with the same size shower. Like the pantry beside the dinette so that the bigger sofa fits in the slide. Rack and pinion slide not unique in a travel trailer…have one in my Rockwood travel trailer. Thanks for showing this trailer.
Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the same as yours. My likes are the counter space and the sofa across from the tv. And kitchen outdoors. Thank you Matt and Wil!
I've never seen these glass exterior doors in person, and have yet to see them closed from the inside on a video, until this brief glimpse here of the bedrooms door. I thought if it's a glass door then you would be able to see through all of it, but apparently it's just like a regular rv door with a window, so what is the point of an all glass rv exterior door? 🤨 kinda dumb eh? 🍻
That would have been a cool idea, to see through the door, with some kind of secondary panel for privacy. They look really cool, though! Cheers from Montreal! 🇨🇦 🍻
@@GaryBrownrigg hiya Gary, calgary here, yeah they look cool, but i thought you were risking a rock chip because the door was all see through from the inside, n yeah some kinda privacy blind for night. But I should have known lol just another none practical gimmick. I'm disappointed lol! 🍻
The only thing I see that may go up when I get older is health care. I’m lucky. I currently have health insurance through CalPERS. When I turn 65, Medicare will be my primary carrier and CalPERS will be my secondary meaning I’m fully covered for life. 👍
Matt, I totally agree that this floorplan is 10 times better than yours👍👍👍but unless there is a sofa or theater seating “option” for that decades old uncomfortable “1950’s diner” booth dinette that you “totally dislike” then this floorplan pretty much sucks too😩😩😩
This has been the funniest Vid. Will blow u up your spot, no water in sink, oven, and stove never used, so it is just a rolling bed with a bathroom option Matt!!! 😅😊😅😊😅😊
Matt Iv always thought your choice in rvs or tt is bad. With all the ones you see you picked a couple losers. I couldn’t understand why you bought this last one and I don’t know what the deal was with that Eastman west or whatever it’s called. That was awful and I don’t like your tt either. I don’t mean to be mean but I don’t get it. You have such a good pick of what you could buy
What I learned from this video: Matt owns an Alliance, Matt doesn’t like the seating in his Alliance, instead of the features of the kitchen, we learned Matt hasn’t dumped the tanks in HIS Alliance (nasty) Truly I hate any Alliance video done on this channel because they are all about Matt and HIS. Alliance - not about the trailer they are reviewing.
"No one needs the middle seat to recline..." Matt I am an old man, and even I know that after a couple of margaritas my wife might want to recline two seats side by side and damage the leather. My God man live a little.
Thought/idea, move the pantry to the over side of the dinette (off camp side). That way you can have more camp side window coverage.
I love the second door. The thought of dropping my old body out of a window in case of an emergency scares me.
I like the dinette for eating and playing cards. We like facing each other.

Brilliant idea about the blanket! Who doesn't keep a blanket near the sofa? And the portable armrest is a great idea, too!
I'LL call ya when they give option for a 22 in. Oven, bunk above dinnette, sleeper sofa-bed
Matt, this is my favorite channel about RVs, period. About your seating predicament, have you thought about replacing the dinette with a couch?
Love this!! But, I wouldn't buy a 2 door floor plan unless the awning covered BOTH doors.
I really think this is an awesome layout. I like the pass through bathroom, due to no disturbing people sleeping walking through the RV to get to the back.
I love this unit and will be getting one, however I do agree, the 294 is my favorite unit also. However, I can’t tow it with my Dodge Ram 1500.
I split bathroom is ridiculous. I prefer a lighter color for the cabinets. The kitchen layout is great.
Our Forest River Surveyor Legend had a rack and pinion slide , loved it
Not sure if I missed it, but what's the interior height? Also, when the slide is in, does it completely block off entrance to the bathroom/bedroom? Hence the need for a bedroom door?

I LOVE the single dump station!! SOOOO much easier. 😮😊❤

One im looking at has manual jacks. Stupid not to include them in 50,000 trailer
Would like to see these lines with a king bed option and the sofa with a fold down cup holder storage space …
Great review Matt you should do a truck review on f your F150 I thought you still had your Titan and what it’s like to tow a trailer
Feels like such an important point...as gar as picking the right rv....im bout to buy my first and am constantly rethinking it, then remind myself why I want that one❤
I love this one! Too bad it's too heavy for out truck. I think we have the same set up as you, Matt, F150 with tow package, but we have the long bed.

Matt the weight description you have a the beginning is heavier dry weight than the delta website shows. Alliance says 6295. Which is accurate?
Love this floor plan.. jus needs a 22in. Oven...

Awesome kitchen.
Alliance did a nice floor plan with this model.
So informative!
Matt did you say you pull this trailer (similar Trailer) with a Ford F150?
The only thing I see that may go up when I get older is health care. I’m lucky. I currently have health insurance through CalPERS. When I turn 65, Medicare will be my primary carrier and CalPERS will be my secondary meaning I’m fully covered for life. 👍
Wait...Matt doesn't use the outside grill, the inside stove, or the inside oven? :)

Hi Steve. Glad you commented. Always makes us smile 😀
This has been the funniest Vid. Will blow u up your spot, no water in sink, oven, and stove never used, so it is just a rolling bed with a bathroom option Matt!!! 😅😊😅😊😅😊
Very nice! 👍🤘Thank you! Thank you! 🧡🍊🧡
It took our third RV to find a great fit. $$$ 😆
Not much storage in the bathroom.
This is the one we are looking at.
I do not like the dark colors on the sofa and in the bedroom. That toilet position looks very weird.
Matt, why aren’t you climbing that 300 lb rated ladder😢
I LOVE IT
But how does it sleep 5
