wrong! sky is so out of touch with fans.
Exactly
Refs need to start being fined
That's silly. Everyone makes mistakes in their jobs. Not many people get fined for it.
@@i.m1981It's hardly stacking the shelves at tesco is it!! If this was air traffic control, do you think they would allow mistakes? Do you think people would still have their job after making a big mistake? The short answer is NO ... and in some jobs if you make a mistake, you go to prison. You are living in such a fake rainbow world you can't see past your own blinkers!! Get a grip
@AemondBlackKiller and players need to be confronted after the games by the media, telling them all the times they clearly cheated by diving, feigning injury, claiming for throwings they know they shouldnt have. When that day comes I will support your point.
@@i.m1981 Yeah, but some great mistakes have no excuse though. Footballers get fined for some mistakes
@@user-tm5zb5yf8cI agree. It goes both ways
VAR has been used to decide and not officate matches. Forest are spot on.
Forest can't be punished if they use the arteta defence.
What about the officials? Will they be punished? Nah, it'll be fine 😂
What about the amount of diving that goes on? We gonna punish players too?
@@-_Blitz_- that’s what yellow cards are for
@@Bert-lw1ot How many times do you see them not given? And I don't think I've ever seen a second yellow for diving
They be sent to the Middle East for retraining lol
Refs and the PGMOL need to be reprimanded for awful performance
It’s like Sky and PGMOL are relatives.
So, let me get this straight. You expect Forest to be punished just for appealing a wrongful decision?
No, what makes this stand out is they questioned the integrity of the game by basically accusing the VAR of match fixing because of being a Luton supporter. The previous incidents with clubs complaining was just saying that decisions were bad, this one was an accusation of cheating. Unless they have actual evidence of their claims then you can understand why the league wouldn't be happy about having its integrity brought into dispute.
The standards of refereeing in this league has become woeful but I'm not sure this is the right way to try to lament it.
@@Kuddochan If the claims of bias are true though and there is a luton connection and forest are telling the true about the connection then they are right to bring that to the attention of the public.
Forrest is stating that they raised the issue before the match and exactly what they feared would happen, occurred during the match.
@thomasmarting If they did raise it and the connections are true then then the game should be called into question
yes for calling out the PGMOL BS
Nonsense. 3 penalties but ONLY 1 was legit and denied by referee. They just saying 1 to cover their arse. Imagine JUST IMAGINE IF THEY SAID TWO PENALTIES WERE LEGIT.
typical sky pundits and reporters we all know you have regular meetings to not say anything about the pgmol or the premier league no talk of constant errors though
PGMOL is a joke and an embarrassment to the game, the regulator should investigate them. They have ruined the premier League this year. To punish a club for that statement is fair play, they have been punished for they have lost the points for the game. I'm not a NF fan but this incident was disgusting. I call on all fans to peacefully demonstrate your dissatisfaction with the PGMOL, perhaps by turning your backs at the start of the final game of the season and/or not cheering or chanting in the final games of the season. I also encourage you to write to your MP, the Premier League and the FA expressing your disappointment with the officiating at games and the possible conflicts of interest that have arisen. It's us FANs that the game belongs too, if like me all you want is for the results to be fair and honest then I think we need to be unified and stand up for rights to have the best quality games.
Forest shouldn't be punished they were just speaking their mind
They were being whiny babies because a decision went against them. Every club has decisions go against them. Forest need fining for bringing the game into disrepute, and an additional fine for being whiny babies.
@creepingbrain again speaking there mind, it's not crying
Haven’t seen a tweet complaining about officials getting wrong when it’s in their favour
Nothing to do with whining about mistakes, questioning the integrity of Atwell brings the game into disrepute hence why the punishment.
Never mind forest I think some of these so called sky pundits need to be fined for the rubbish they spout !!!
Very true
Not a Nottingham forest fan. The league has been disappointing to watch this season with the corruption, totally taking away from the beauty of the game.
I would say quite a few season's, not just this one
Punished for pointing out the obvious, drawing attention to Premier League referees and how inept they are, paid massive amounts of money and they are still hopeless, the big teams always get the decisions in their favour.
Punished for freedom of speech? How about punish the incompetent officiating
Lmao, you can't just go around and accuse people of stuff and claim freedom of speech.
This leagues a joke 😂😂
First punish Manchester city
The way the FA, Pgmol and all the media have closed ranks on this is quite disturbing. No wonder fans talk about a conspiracy.
No way, was their only 1 genuine pen. First 2 have been given all season, but not on this occasion. Just admitting an error on the third, is garbage., and trying to use damage limitation. On the third one, it’s obvious people will question the Luton connection, as it looks impossible to get wrong. He simply has to state to the ref, that he didn’t get the ball.
Hold on, they freely admit that the VAR just blatantly didn't do their job and the fact he is a Luton Fan has to be considered, bias could have easily played a part. He's only human and shouldn't have been involved in that game period. Anyone that truly knows football also knows that it was two penalties that should have been awarded. But they won't admit to two because it now opens up a whole lot more trouble for them.
DISAGREE REGARDING SEPARATION OF ISSUES. THEY ARE CONNECTED. ONE AS A RESULT OF ANOTHER
Unbelievable! Just because Nottingham Forest stated their own opinion regarding the abysmal implementation of VAR they're expected to be punished 🤔. It's ridiculous
Forest will always be respected by proper football fans for standing up for themselves and saying what we all think!
17 calls going against them this season..if you watch the compilation its hard not to think something weirds going on here!
Fans irrespective of club affiliations should call out PGMOL for their consistent poor officiating. You cannot say Nottingham Forest were hard done by and then say they should be punished. Utter rubbish; they get hard done by in the Liverpool and Everton games and you don’t want them to cry out. It is the officials that are bringing the game to disrepute
Forest also v Man United, Brentford, Brighton at least. The Forest list of shambolic refereeing decisions this year is particularly and shamefully and incomprehensibly long, which is why they hired Clattenburg in the first place.
Sky sports pundits are a big shame. Nottingham was upset by stupid decisions by the ref and VAR.
"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." - Upton Sinclair
Not a forest fan. This is ridiculous, Sky should be ashamed to be the mouth piece of Howard Web, they should have had 2 to 3 penalties. I’m with forest on this.
Sky Sports still hitting new lows - impressive
Luton have requested a 10 point deduction
Sky have been very critical of NFFC but to be honest I think a lot of good has come out of the statement as it has made the FA and everyone else involved investigate this publicly. If they have complained privately nothing would have happened and it would have been forgotten about. I commend NFFC for doing what they did…
This is sucking up to the PGMOL. Punished for speaking their mind rather that then stay quiet. Up the reds❤.
The decisions all season that have gone in favor of Man City should be scrutinised. The refs are human too, and there is so much money in football that there is no way we can pretend that no bias or worse is going on just because.
It's just f*cking hilarious at this point that you punish someone for their opinion yet let mistake after, in my opinion, bias "mistakes" from the "professionals" at the top of the game, go unpunished.
There are clear and obvious errors/incorrect decisions that have cost several clubs £millions, while the refs go off on private jobs in the middle east.
You are stopping FA cup replays, how about you stop refs from doing extra jobs in case they get injured and the prem pays for their sick days or they are jet lagged and can't follow the match.
Where is the audio for the other two Pens?! I don't care if Forest have intimated match fixing because thats what it looks like, to be punished for making a statement to that effect is frankly absurd
All football fans stand united with forest. Officiating is either corrupt or inadequate and its ruining our sport. UTV
And how do you expect to punish pgmol?
Take them to court. Use there own evidence againts them. They admit that they got the call wrong. Bring the video with ya , show the judge. With that wrong call that u have admitted u got wrong, your own video proves this.. we've been relegated now, we will loose sponsorship and a lot of revenue money not being in the premier league anymore. As now we r in the efl championship, there can't be a counter argument or the judge disagreeing on the matter.. pgmol have brought in there own evidence to prove this.. shot themselves in the foot.
They're punished enough already! If they get relegated it's because they've been at the back of very poor decisions alongside Wolves, United too have also had shocking decisions.
How do you separate the reaction from the cause of the reaction 🤣🤣🤣
Punished for saying the truth.
“Separate the incidents from the reaction to the incidents” - Are they being serious?
Lack of class posting a pic of him eith a herpe. Very bad show sky. Awful and childish
Forest shouldn’t be punished for telling the truth…this league is riddled with cheats. Players, officials and var are all culpable…fed up with it.
How come the referees are not getting punished instead of the clubs.
They didn't get 2 right. They said it was subjective.
Sky is an embarrassment. Criticise the refs and PGMOL if you dare. They screwed up. You guys don't let a manager off the hook if he screwed up. Shame on you Sky.
Re: refs talking to the crowd, even putting aside that it was allowed at the Women's World Cup (not sure why the rules guys allowed that but not in general) pretty much every referee I've seen talk about it have said they want it, so I'm genuinely curious what argument IFAB think there is to say no
Why have Atwell on a VAR for a match with their relegation rivals anyway? Just avoid the whole fiasco by having a different ref who isn't from the region.
Haha sky running adverts for their new referees show
Coming soon...
Decisions sponsored by Specsavers
The reviews in rugby games are basically audible. It's all above board and clear to everybody. And all officials are as obviously impartial as possible. The idea of a Luton supporting official being used for VAR for a Notts Forest game in the present circumstances is just wrong. It's unfair on the official and leaves him open to accusation, as indeed then happened.
Are PGMOL going to get punished? You can not punish a team, for fronting up and challenging incompetence
League has been a disaster
Oh the re recorded tape
The penalty at 0-0 was a stonewaller as well. They're trying to make it out like only 1 was a penalty and it wouldn't have made a difference at 2-0 down.
Typical damage limitation exercise platformed by Sky who have an exclusive deal to brodcast the VAR decisions.
And they didn't address the fact that Aaron Wan Bissaka was given a penalty against for the exact same hanball situation on the dame day, followed the next week by United not getting a penalty again Burnley for the exact same sutuation.
So fans in the will have a time delay when the referees is explaining the decision so that be about half an hour later 🤣
I personally think that the refs need to be consistent with their decisions. The exact same instances almost always get different decisions. It would be nice to know why though. Maybe have a side by side comparison too and then play "spot the difference," just for more clarity🤔
Foolishness
All 3 penalty disbutes should of been shown as in the one that was shown atwell the one in question TOOK CHARGE
They already doing the audio explanation to funs in the Mexican league. Just like the NFL in United States
If its not corruption then it is incompetence either way ref's should be fined and banned for a few games
well as long as they do not give forest any points deductions then I dont really get why sky sports are making a big deal about this
Sky are in a bleeding bubble!
Twatwell did give decusions for Luton, everyone knows it, they should of removed him, but no, corrupt to the core
We don't care about the punishment. Sort the refereeing out. COYR.
Your observations are nonetheless important
They shouldn't be getting them wrong. Its ridiculous. The officials have not been good enough this season. Nottingham forest is justified in its statement. Lost at least certainly a penalty. If the bias issue is true then they shouldn't be charged with anything
Of course they will only admit to 1 out of three they are being accused of match fixing obviously not going to admit they got all three wrong are they lol
This Var baby , that the premier league have introduced might be the biggest mistake of there lives.. first they said, it's been put in place to aid the reff's and get decision's correct.. with this brilliant technology, it's just another form of corruption and helping out the sporting agencies.. As there's more controversy and in correct calls made, more than ever.. Now , if teams loose points get relegated or if a team is fighting for the tittle but get a wrong call on an disallowed goal miss out on winning the league.. can they not sue then, as the pgmol come out with weekly pressers and say yeah we got this wrong.. okay then let's go to caught, bring your var video with u cause that's the evidence we need.. you've admitted u got it wrong, your own evidence proves it.. 2 things can happen here, u get rid of var for ever or team's will get paid massive amount of money in compensation.. loss of revenue if relegated or team's that should of won the league, miss out on bigger sponsorship deals etc.. big can of worms.. Come on my fellow football lovers , lets get the soul back into our great game. The powers to be have sucked the life out of it.. give me a hallelujah if anyone's with me .
Typical sky in the pgmols pocket, absolutely working together as entities, instead of actually addressing that this league is bent, and are dictating the shape of the league by their corrupt decisions, disgusting.
Everyone has bad decision. Not everyone screams cheats when really forest are the cheats
The PGMOL are an embarrassment to football as simple as that. The earlier they accept their officials are hust not good enough the better. Howard webb himself has been involved in alot of controversies and so that doesn't indicate they are ready to make things right.
Forest is right
Punished for telling the truth 👍
The usual fluff. Everyone knows it was 3 clear Penalties.
But again PMGOL muddied the waters with '1 penalty should have been given at 2-0 down' when it didn't matter..
When is this nonsense going to STOP? We just want a Fair Game.
I've voted with my feet.
After twenty years, I've cancelled my Sky sports subscription.
I've watched enough of this biased rubbish.
There ought to be a campaign where true football lovers in the UK did the same for a few months. Gary Neville was so refreshing when he became a Sky pundit where he actually said what he thought. Now he just spins the party line.
Why doesnt ROB DORSET KEEP HIS USELESS OPINIONS TO HIMSELF .
What is a fine in todays football? Were talking about premier league teams here with lots of money not some minnow team in the non leagues who could go down under
Dorsett and the other Pundits are completely Wrong Nottingham was robbed of Three Penalties and enough is a enough and I’m not a fan of forest the pundits put the words into there mouths then they give their decisions.
why punish victims punish city
The Forest reaction was to merely point out a Conflict of Interest had not been avoided as it should’ve been.
There was no insinuation of corruption or cheating. The pundits and shows like this did that - Forest’s statement didn’t.
Forest have been shafted by unfair PSR rules and repeated incorrect officiating decisions.
Forest are probably 15 points worse off with all this weighed up.
It stinks.
Sky peddling scripted and curated takes that's clearly come from the EPL. Congratulate PGMOL because they owned up to making an error that every man and his dog could see what a clear penalty, but condemn Forest for speaking out against these decisions. Sky is so out of touch with the fans of football
The jury of the public gives Forest their support.
Forest were robbed at least twice
Omg why won’t they listen to the fans and football teams everyone higher up is corrupt I’ve had enough if you agree like this comment
Puppet
They can moan all they want about decisions going against them but strange how they are not bothered Murillo and Gibbs White where not sent off and that's because those two decisions went in their favour
Karma forest the rams can't wait to thrash u next season 😂
Ashley Young going through the back of Rayners legs to win the ball, he doesn't and fouls Rayner so it's a penalty. The hand ball 50/50 has we've seen them given(Coventry v man utd) and the 3rd we all know its a penalty. Its like the pgmol are trying to brainwash us!! If a player goes through the back of a player to win the ball it's a foul, so please pgmol explain why ur only saying the 3rd one was a penalty and not the 1st challenge on rayner??
"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." - George Orwell, "1984"
Does the club and its fanbase have the patience for that kind of rebuild though. They haven't shown it in the past.
If you think almost your entire starting XI is good enough (let alone a whole 24-man sqaud), you need 3-4 transfer windows to change that. Which means about two seasons of 'transition' where you have to accept some level of failure and underachievment. Nothing about Man United (and their collective idea of themselves) suggests that they are ready for that. They are a club with what is now a decade-long history of shortcut decision-making
Forest have ruined the league with their FFP cheating, then the appeal. Now this, what a horrible little club
Knuckle dragger
A panel of luton fans will decide their punishment a 20 points deduction is expected
